    SS2 is super amazing and I'm so glad you're still working on it. The biggest thing I've seen on mod list forms is the performance dip. There's a way to regulate when settlements or quest get updated would be nice such as a black screen and a notification saying sometime has passed and let's say the settlements have upgraded or something

    You guys are doing everything right. You care about the players, you listen to them, and you try your very best to incorporate their wishes into true QoL improvements. That's so much more than Bethesda has done in the last ten years.
    Thanks for all your enormous efforts. Keep it up!
    Btw: I also rolled back everything to the pre-next gen update. It still works like a charm. I do hope that the F4SE team will get through for everyone soon.
    How Bethesda has the audacity to claim that they did the "utmost" to ensure compatibility while destroying the coding for THE most important base mod used by 90% of all mods is beyond me.

    I started with Sim Cities a while ago, but I haven't been able to play for a while. I can't wait to build a working computer again so I can play F4 with my favorite mods again! Yes, you're responsible for a ton of them. Thanks for all of the hard work!

    Its a small thing. But ive been yapping to my friends up an down about the custom quest animations yall made in the pipboy. Today i finally finished the "How to HQ" quest. And the next quest to come up "is there a doctor in the house" i roard with laughter for 20 minutes at the fact yall snuck in the family guy death pose

    I've removed all my other mods besides ss2 with nexgen and everything still works, so great job with making a more stable game then a AAA game company.

    Just wanted to say that VR room to view your settlements is cool as hell, I was thinking maybe you could expand it, could make it where it shows all settlers with their stats, what that settlements resource production is and what they’re sending you, or maybe just some more facts about your HQ

    Would yall ever make a heli pilot plot? When you assign someone to it, it builds the virtibird and pad. Then it could act similar to the vertibird overhaul where you can call them in or have them be defensive and protect an outpost or settlement. Prolly not something you all would do but it would be a great addon for people trying to make big military bases.

    @kinggath, I can't thank you enough. You know the feeling, when someone just seems to read your mind? If I could, I would #upvote the latest idea presented on patreon in another direction: Imagine, if the white parts would not just show the faction, but other parts would show another color determining the department.
    ...yeah... maybe I'm a StarTrek fan ^^

    I think the HQ would work better if it was - by default - following a pattern that only required the player to toss resources at it to continue. I understand some players prefer to micromanage what goes where, but I don't see the point.
    I love making player settlements look good, but that is not what the hq is about, so it makes more sense for most players to simply see a goal of so many tons of aluminium etc being required for the next upgrade. Which can be delivered from settlements or directly if the players want to dump it in a box themselves.

    As always, love your dedication to the mod! I have two things to mention, firstly a QoL suggestion. When it comes to the resources, I find it painfully difficult to micromanage individual components for scrap resources, so I keep it on categories. However I would like to have supply resources on components as then I can take full advantage of the war mechanics. Capturing territories and such actually become strategic with them giving specific components of ammo, armour, chems etc.
    The QoL adjustment here is to separate the settings for scrap and supply resources. So one can be categories, whilst the other is components.
    Second thing is more of a wishful thinking idea as I know it's likely a lot of work to create unique settlers with voice acting. But I would love to have a handful of unique settlers that are actually designed to be used in HQ. Sure they could be used in settlements, but I'm thinking they would have unique dialogue they would say out loud occasionally when assigned to HQ. Yes I could use the existing unique settlers, but I like to use them in settlements for their stats and unique plot designs and how they can make a settlement feel more alive by talking occasionally.

    A small feature I'd love to see added, remove the forced 2x2 plot during the beginning tutorial with Jake, if you have a mod with small interior plots installed.
    If doing the tutorial in Sanctuary and you want to switch to interior plots, when you delete the initial 2x2 plots the settlement goes all wonky.
    Not very descriptive I know, but it's not consistent.
    Sometimes it refuses to count the small plots as beds or food, then I'll have to build 2x2 plots again to fix it.
    Other times it is just one or the other.
    It will happen on savegame load or if travelling away and back, something will be off.
    Actually haven't used Sanctuary for the tutorial in a long time, usually just b-line for Starlight Drive-In, but recently discovered the Rebuild mods and really want to have Sanctuary as my home base now. :D

    Hi there, I have been enjoying SS2 SO MUCH OMG! I love it! I have had one issue that I can't seem to get past, however! It's the quest named "State of War". I am stuck on establishing the Gunner Territories. I have done so many of them now, I am not sure how none of them are counting. I can only assume it may be a bug? Is there any way around this issue? I would love to continue the story!

    #Upvote I found that the pre-update mod that does a graphics update to 4K actually interfered with some of the quests. I rolled it out and went back to my save when I did the update.

    So I'm on console and I need some help. I did the city plan for starlight to be my main base but now I ctd everytime I get get near starlight. Is there any way to tear down the city plan without actually being at the settlement (cuz I can't go near it)?

    Could anybody explain why as soon as I got this mod my save got bricked?😬 Xbox series x I had like 3 settlements with city plans and was nowhere near the settlements when my game crashed (I was about to fight the mechanist) when I attempted to reload the game I would select my save and the game would load as usual for around 5 seconds then just crash with no error code. PLEASE HELP IVE TRIED EVERYTHING 💀

    Hey, got ss2 for Xbox, everything works fine i think, the quests won't start though, for a while the stranger just wouldn't show up, now he won't speak to me, he'll folow me everywhere i go in the settlement, but will only respond with "hey" or "what's up". I don't know how to use the terminal to reset the quests without breaking it and I've tried redownloading the mod just in case. Im on xbox and I've no idea what to do, there are no specific videos or posts on reddit that have been much helpful, any tips would be appreciated

    Question into the crowd: Do you guys think it makes sense to play SS2 alongside the normal Fallout 4 experience or more as a completely different experience? The last time I played Fallout 4 was when SS1 had been out for a few months, so I don't know how much it really has evolved since then.

      Along side a normal Fallout 4 experience for sure! SS2 was designed with that in mind, so you can do both, or just SS2. Up to you!

    As much as I love the mod, it takes up so much space on the model list for Xbox Do you plan on releasing a version of the mall that has all 3 chapters in one mod, with the size reduced as much as possible since bethesda seems to refuse giving us any more storage space for mods on console

    I have this mod and when it gets to late game I get insanely long loading screen freezes and random game freezes like 10 15min are there any fixes or it is just my xbox series s who is too weak?

    I'm still playing on the pre update version with sim settlements 2. I'm still trying to figure everything out and it's kinda confusing. Like my current workflow is add a bunch of crafting items to the workbench, go to raze my settlement and 2x the settlement budget, and then place down a desk, assign a mayor, and then have them build everything. Problem is, most of the time they just build the homes and one non residential plot per settler. I then have to manually assign someone to electric and radio broadcast to attract more settlers to actually build the settlement. I sometimes even just drop down a separate generator and radio because I get the feeling the regular sim settlement radio beacon isn't working. Is there anyway to simplify this? Am I doing something wrong or misunderstanding something?

    #upvote There is an F4SE update on Nexus but silverlock is still stating the update is pending. The update on Nexus is labeled "Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE)". Is that the same as the silverlock F4SE? This one is loaded through a Mod Manager instead of manually installing it.

      The version on Nexus is the latest version, but would be considered "beta" to allow for mod devs and users to test it out.

    I just started playing and I have the automated system running with my 20 ASAMS. but I am kind of lost. I feel like the quest just quit on me after I turned on the automation. I was hoping that once it was on my settlement would do their thing and I would go out questing for the stuff they needed. but maybe that's not how it is supposed to work.

      Jake does come and go from the story leaving you to do other stuff a few times. He will radio you when it is time to get going again. The settlements are resource hungry though so make sure you have enough SS2 storage there and drop off your scrap once in a while.

    off topic from the video: I've seen this background scenario a few times, and now i even searched for all possible settlement locations or mods (which is hard to search). would somebody kindly name the settlement that is in the video? or the mod if that's a mod?

      The external settlement is Starlight Drive In, as you probably know.
      The Internal is the HQ inside Gunners plaza(GNN Plaza). You get it towards the end of SS2 CH2.

      The beta is intended only for mod authors to tinker with. Best to wait unless you want your save ruined.

      Have you moved powered items? Grabbing an item that is wired and moving it without disconnecting the wire can create wonderful blackholes in settlements.
      Remote destroy Sanctuary using Workshop Framework. Remove the city plan, if there is one. Use a mod like Raze my Settlement to further clear the cell.
      Don't build in Sanctuary. Leave the Commonwealth for 30+ days(go to Far Harbor).
      This may fix the issue.

    You do realise MCM is not working in the current patch rolled out by Bethesda, F4SE has a new version but down to MOD Authors to update their .dlls to current version of the game, and MCM is an old Mod not sure the mod author is still updating it.

      There should be a mod that bypasses this allow you to still play with newer f4se and it will skip the version detection.

    the 999 issue is very annoying, there isn't a real solution for this? how come that that menu function was perfectly functional in previous versions? ugh

    #Upvote I really wish you wouldn't compare anything you to to Reddit. The whole SS2 team is awesome, and Reddit is a hive of scum and villainy. I understand your reasoning though :P

    Cool mod... shame its bugged as hell... had to do research and use console commands pretty much for whole chapter 2 and then i got stuck and had to uninstall.

      @@dependent-ability8631 I did. But I found the hq features really fast and just turned off time and cost for a few minutes while it completed what I needed.
