- Street-running 25 MPH faster than the street-run in La Grange!!! Super long trains!!! Filmed in Elwood, Indiana on 2024-04-15 on South "C" street
That was totally awesome, I would love to live on a street like that, keep up with the awesome vids
Thank you for watching
@@therailroadtiespiker definitely welcome
Great Film I had a busy day on my line and saw NS8025&8104 I missed 8114 but I had good power on ns
I also caught the Nickel Plate up in Wabash on 18K. Thank you Tim for watching
That dash cam was great. Don't think I would set in the car. to close. Thanks again.
Thank you for watching…. I don’t sit in the car I’m usually up on the hill of one of the friendly neighbors that told me to use his yard to film in.
I’m guessing the Emergency Vehicles know better than to stop in the street where Trains come streaming through. 😬👍
And garbage trucks.
super great video sir 😍😍❤❤👌👌
Thank you so much for watching
Great video but scary dash cams!👍
Thank Timothy for watching. Yes I wouldn’t sit in my truck when it goes by
Nice footage and shots of 129 from both cams!🛤🚂
In Lagrange, as long as the locomotive is on the street they are allowed to go only 10 miles per hour. But when the locomotive clears the street they can resume track speed.
That’s what I’ve been told… they don’t slow down at all on this line if anything they speed up. Lol
When it comes to street runners like this I always have to wonder how it wound up like that. Like what was there first: the street or the railroad? And if the railroad was there first why put a road there, or vice versa: why put a railroad where a road is?
Essentially my question is why is street running even a thing?
Thank you for watching David… In this case the street was there about 20 years before the railroad was and this was normally done to make dropping off goods to the town a lot easier and there wouldn’t have been vehicles parked all over the street because they wouldn’t be around for any 30 years or so.
11:07 just started watching your videos the other day…quite enjoyable except for one thing. I think you should stand still when talking - the camera shake is a little distracting. Maybe try a gyro mount for your phone…they work wonders! Keep up the good work1
Will do. Lol I was thinking the same thing thank you for watching
Enjoyed the video. I would think twice about sneezing if i was that close...lol
Now that’s funny Rick my wife has been sneezing all week because of the pollen in the air but she was ok she didn’t go filming with me yesterday. Lol thank you for watching and I’m going to be in Peru on Saturday.
I am conflicted. On the one hand, I think that the trains should go much slower for safety sake. But, on the other hand, with the outrageous length of trains today, a slower train could block the street for a very long time!
That’s very true. I watch the La Grange came from time to time and most of those trains can take up to 10 minutes to go through town. Thank you Daniel for watching.
how many trains does elwood get a day?
The other day we had five trains in about three hours then I’ve sat for six hours waiting for trains and saw nothing. They usually see about three to four trains each day.
Awesome video man!
@@KermitNationStudios thank you for watching…

Nice. Things have really greened up there and the birds are chirping, nesting season?
Yes and I’ve noticed our trees at home have really leafed up over the past couple of days. I’m so ready for it to warm up. Lol

Thank you Bill for watching and more videos to come
2:57 these doors are open 😮
I’ve seen that a lot lately I think it’s just because they’re in a hurry to pull them out of the yard and don’t take the time to close them. Thank you for watching
