Wish I was from the UK going to these raves back in the early 90's. Listening to this track you can just imagine the atmosphere, energy and dance revolution taking place in warehouses all over Britain, UK Dance music is very special, golden era music!
I wish you were here back then too, it was absolutely, without doubt, THE best chapter of my life, 49 now but still remember it all. It was quite exclusive, in the age before the internet you only got to go to the parties if you knew the right people, there were no dickheads, no fights ever, everyone was a stranger but all part of a family. It spread across the entire UK like a wildfire, the police had no authority, they would show up and try and catch drug dealers but they had no power to stop the party itself, it was ALL ours, we took it and we ran with it. In the end it was such a massive massive problem to the authorities across the whole of the UK that they actually passed The Criminal Justice Bill through Parliament giving the police powers to stop the parties and confiscate all equipment, the illegal scene went from the fields, beaches and warehouses and club owners were rubbing their cash boxes with glee, the Rave culture became club events and it lost its ability to keep trouble away and lost its character, the scene evolved waay too fast and before I knew it, the piano tunes played out and most of the girls went too and as Jungle came in, the events went from beautiful fun events with flower strobes and awesome lazer shows, to almost pitch black with just one lazer, the vibe with Jungle was dark too, thats when people started getting robbed, as the scene went from Jungle to DnB, the robbings have continued, they even have known techniques such as ringing, hugging and penis fly traps. The authorities shouldve just let us get on with it, we were managing it, there were no fights, no stabbings, no robberies and everyone, I mean everyone was friendly and respectful, the Ecstasy also made a loving atmosphere where paople actually cared for others around them. It will never ever happen again, youth culture is a much much more darker animal these days, it would be completely impossible to replicate it or keep it secret, I am so so so very lucky to have been just the right age to be swept up in it all, I gotta give props to my Mum & Dad for that! XXXXXXXXXXXX
thanks mum for having me at the right moment in time.

The 90's were the best raving times of my life. I still rave now, but the 90's were special!
Not heard this track for many years- lovely find!
This takes me back. Classic dark core from the 90s. Recording on to tape from pulse FM and fantasy radio. East London. Awesomeness
