Live in Golden, we use to ride the psychosis trail with v brakes in the early 2000's. Bikes have change but the trail is still just as gnarly!

only ever tried that trail once when I lived in Gtown... terrifying.... miss the Golden crowd.
Rode Dead Dog once around 6 years back, completely blind into it and after a whole day over at Kicking horse bike park. That trail is freakin steep mate, it is a literal physical release of tension when you finally get to the bottom and turn right onto the regular trail again. Like thank fuck, I can relax.
Imagine racing this track! Was cool they held the Psychosis race last summer during the pandemic, hope they do again.

Thanks for the video remy! Was fun seeing you my biggest inspiration to get back into mountainbiking after a 4 year break, ride the original red bull psychosis track, that was a big inspiration for me taking up the amazing sport!
How would say the track rides on a modern bike? I guess it was a different beast to ride on the bikes the track was designed for over 20 years ago.

Gee's video was out today too. Saw your comment about riding with him in BC. We all know Gee would love to ride that kind of trails and is very capable of doing it. We also all know you like to push your limits too (I'm thinking about Steve Vanderhoek line) so I was wondering if the stuff he does would be some stuff you would do too or is it like too much risk or too high consequences vs the reward ?

That’s not the steepest because I don’t think they count the illegal trails because I live in lacuna beach and there is a trail called Valhalla that is just straight down
