  • Rod Henderson served 22 years in the Australian Army, joining in 1995 and discharging as a Sergeant in 2017.
Initially, Rod served as an Infantryman in the 3rd Battalion and then as an Aircrewman on various aircraft types with 5 AVN REGT. Rod was deployed many times during his military career, including East Timor, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, and Afghanistan.

Such an amazing story. What a privilege for guests of the War Memorial to have Rod as their guide, someone who has lived and breathed it. Very cool. Thank you for this.
