If your ex was separated from you in California (s)he won't be able to negate whatever you signed to allow her to move. DO confirm this with your own attorney, as well as whatever rights you retain for yourself. I experienced this in Comal County with a Texas bar attorney.
I'm a centrist, middle of the road kinda guy. I been debating relocating back to Texas (having lived there in the 90s) from the PNW. I love the PNW except for the cost of living. I love how connected Texas is with its old west heritage and don't care about your lifestyle or politics as long as you're not telling me how I can live my life. I admire the sense of independence Texans maintain
For vegetarians, you’re not too far from Schterz/San Antonio for more options . In regards to political views, You’re surrounded by two predominately democratic metro hubs. New Braunfels brings a good blend of both. Traffic is bearable in NB. When I first moved to Texas I lived in San Antonio. 17 miles going home took me close to an hour, taking three different highways . If there was a wreck somewhere along the way add another 30 minutes on top of that. I think if NB added HOV lanes on I 35 this would help tremendously. TX DOT Has already done this on I 10 between San Antonio and Boerne,
Thank you for recommending this video, I subscribed! I cracked up cause I'm vegetarian and I would actually take it a step further and say Texas in general is not vegan or vegetarian friendly, I think it is like the meat capital or something lol. I actually live very close to Creekside and only go there once every couple months. I'm very minimalist though and would rather spend my time hiking or taking care of my plants than shopping though. Great video!
Thank you for subscribing Iris! Yes, we often have to venture off to SA or Austin to satisfy vegetarian food plan, there is 7 monks cafe, though here. Hiking is a plus, anything outdoors and Creekside try going during non peak hours. I know there are more stores coming to Creekside and more development with new community Solms Landing on the Freheit side
Please lol. You wanna see overcrowded, go to Dallas. Traffic there is atrocious. I've learned to deal with the hot weather. I'm not a vegetarian and don't intend on becoming one any time soon, so New Braunfels is perfect for me.
I think it's a great town too Scott. I actually wouldn't go anywhere else. The people, the nature, the mom and pop shops. The history, the charm. It's all here. Sorry you're upset with the video. If you listen to it through, you'll know my take at the end. Many of my videos come from people like you. People who ask about New Braunfels...what's it like, they ask about diversity, political affiliation, etc. So, I make videos touching on those questions. I can assure you that people moving here love this place because, number one reason, the friendliness of the people. I get that feedback more than any other. Pretty neat. Have a good night.
What is this unhappy person trying to say? You want a one light town.. then move. This guy simply does not know traffic, crowds or any of his other ‘reasons’. Sorry I wasted my life watching. I love NB!!
I love it too brother ;) People here talk about traffic around Creekside alllllll the time, and that occasion when there's a wreck on 35, and it's backed up for hours. I'm sure people coming from metro areas laugh at "our traffic." Thanks for watching!
That’s what I said lol Houston traffic is worse than this. To me it’s the same as everywhere else on being packed. Yes it may be conservative but we don’t shame anyone for their views. Just bought a home here and love how everyone is friendly and cool tubing everywhere. Yes it’s hot but that’s Texas in general. To me it sounded like he didn’t want people moving over here 😂
@@patriciahernandez950 thanks for watching. People watch and ask questions so I use questions sometimes to address in videos, concerns people may have who are up in the air about moving here. ;)
Im planning to move there as is the closest place to Fort worth in SA area. I was living around Culebra road and my car was ruined on the highway and roads due to being dirty all the time. What are your thoughts on this? Specifically for someone who work around Lackland.
@@raadalawanrealtor Moved to SA last year and have most of my stuff in storage as I'm deployed. Im looking to move up from SA to NB looking for a better lifestyle as in San Antonio is as crowded but the city seems to be a mess.
I love the last reason. If you're racist, don't move to New Braunfels. 🤪 On a lighter note, creekside should get better once they're done with the road work.
My family will be moving here in about a month from St Louis,MO , when I went to look at the house I had no idea this place was so crowded but it will be my new home regardless. :)
Welcome josiest69. It's crowded in a "normal" summer because of our river parks, restaurants, shopping. It somewhat calms down after the holidays until about May, and then ramps back up again with the weather. It's really not crowded though because New Braunfels is spread out.
New Braunfels had a population of just under 10,000 people when I graduated high school back in 95
According to census, it was 32,856 in 1995
I feel like I already love it there and I have not even visit yet!

Your videos are awesome and super helpful. Thank you!
thank you Meghan, I appreciate that. Thank you for watching!
New Braunfels still has a downtown wonderful city.
Ikr very beautiful especially during Christmas time with all the lights it's like a wonderland
The feeder roads will always have traffic and lights. If you want to avoid stay on the freeway.
or cut through Gruene

Dallas traffic much like new braunfels traffic is due to atrocious highway design

If the City wasn't looking for growth, there wouldn't be so many new housing developments. 😆
