However, I will never be a fan of or condone music that promotes violence against women. I will never be a fan of music that degrades women. From a moral perspective, I will never be a fan of music with lyrics in favor of the lowest and worst lifestyles. Popular music influences young minds, and encouraging children to seek vice instead of virtue is irresponsible. I will continue to attack such poison and object to its cultural acceptance. I do not care who produces it or what names it hides under; to me, it is worse than garbage. Trying to protect this trash as some advanced or stylistic innovation is like getting children to take poison to broaden their knowledge of cuisine. Love music enough to defend it from the fakes.
