What pisses me off is every single time he goes on about not wanting to talk about it then his inevitable “I don’t wanna talk about how-“ and then talks about it for 15 minutes straight. He so clearly wants to talk about it but rather than saying and doing that he “sneaks” it in.

dsp always brings up all the "positive changes" he's made but never seems to realize that he only made them because he was forced to. he was way behind on switching to direct capture, he only upgraded his capture card recently because the one he was using died and a fan had to send him a new one. a fan had to send him a new webcam. all of the changes had to be supplied by his fans or literally forced on him
If you have to get on stream and beg for tips for groceries, then I would say failure is the correct word.
He would have been able to retire today if he managed his money and living expenses better. I think DSP's idea of that "fair shake" style documentary would be like five minutes long saying he "innovated RUclips and Let's Plays" and the one negative thing would be something trivial like "he raised his voice once on stream" to explain it away. Like pure propaganda.
Phil really needs to also learn his actions speak louder than his words. If you are complaining about your tips, superchats, engagement, nobody talking to you in chat, views are down, attendance is low that paints the picture you aren't happy with what you do so saying "I love my life! I love my job! I have fun everyday!" it doesn't make sense. And he still thinks commenting on the literal things he has done is slander and character assassination when it's what he actually did.

The best thing for Phil would be to quit the internet. Find an entry level job somewhere and grind his way up. You get a certain sense of accomplishment and fulfillment from earning your way rather than begging for it. But that is too much work so he will keep streaming to his dents and digitally begging for spare change

I would LOVE for dsp to make a documentary about himself. To see all his delusions consolidated into 1 video. But that would require work from him so it'll never happen.
The funniest part is, I've been watching Turkey Tom for years and I promise you he doesn't care at all about Phil's feedback and only marginally cares about a reply... If he wanted a reply or feedback he probably would have asked because I'm like Phil most of the world outlines their expectations clearly instead of tip towing around with 30 minute passive aggressive statements. Tom didn't make the video as a way to force a statement or anything he made the video just to make a video
DSP could get the most views he's had in years by doing a DSP reacts to DSP documentary by TurkeyTom. I'd play into it so hard and super beg for money during my react. Why does he automatically equate negative with slander. It can be negative and still be true. His entire internet footprint is negativity. How is he surprised that no one can find positive content from him. He lays into his own fans on a daily basis. Where is this positive content he speaks of.

yeah he kinda bounced back after that it seems, I've seen a couple of his vids and they weren't bad imo, its mostly documentaries on wierdos on the internet and drama, sorta like sunnyv2

The documentary was good, but I don't 100% wholeheartedly agree with the title. I don't necessarily see phil as a failure. After all the shit he's done and said over his career as a content creator, he's still able to make enough money to pay his bills and support his gambling addiction. That's kind of a win
