Watching over and over is such a pleasure! Which entry points are this please? Are some of these scenes from Chapel Reef at Apo Island? Are some from the Marine Sanctuary beach access, please? ...if you remember... I'd like to go!
Thank you. Some of the videos were from Apo Island. We did some shore diving with Liquid Dumaguete. I’m not sure of the entry points though, although they will know.
Great video. Excellent footage. I would like the know about your full gear. Camera, lenses Macro & Wide. We go next April Dauin. I hope see as much as you saw. Thanks for informing me. Great job!!!
Thanks. I use a Canon G7X in a Fantasea Line Housing. I use the Fantasea Line Bigeye Lens for the F series housing for wide stuff and a combination of macro lenses from Inon, Saga and Nauticam. I use Big Blue video lights as well. Have fun in Dauin. You'll find macro stuff there as well as wide stuff at Apo Island.
@@nyfrogman I use a Gorilla tripod for underwater macro video. Then you get super stable footage. You seem to have pulled it off without a tripod. Nice job.
To be honest, we have stayed at Liquid Dumaguete on three different occasions. On the last two, we had a guide named Adrian, who works at Liquid. Although Adrian is quite good, we were not as pleased, overall, with the operation at Liquid, and we were looking to try a new place if we decide to go back. I have heard good things from friends that have tried Atlantis Dumaguete.@@charles-antoineboutin2647
Thanks for your advice, i'm considering booking with liquid, cheaper price... You say the operation wasn't good, did you book anything special with them and ask for specific spots? Or did you just join the diving group and go with the flow?@@nyfrogman
If you book with Liquid, I would suggest asking for Adrian as a guide. He is very good at finding stuff. I'm sure that the others are good as well, but we used Adrian the last 2 times we were there. We did a lot of shore diving when we were there the last 2 times. I think that when we were there, earlier in the year, that there boat was broken and they were renting one. In the past, they have only had one boat, and shore diving was common, if you didn't want to go where the boat was going. Other operations have a combination of big boats and small boats, which gives you more options with the dives sites, without being limited to those accessible by the shore. The rooms there are pretty nice and the restaurant is good as well.@@charles-antoineboutin2647
Very nice videos. Ilove the muckdiving in dauin.
Thanks!
Crazy froggy and nuddie action; and exceptional camera work 👏🏻 👌🏻
Thank you!
That's a mind blowing array of creatures, and beautifully recorded.
Thank you!

@@nyfrogman thanks a lot. Your sharpness it’s wonderful. We are using GH5, but my edition ability is poor. Keep diving!!!!
Thanks. You too.@@jacintocastillo2438
That was so good! I watched the whole video :). Did you use a tripod?
Thank you. I'm glad that you enjoyed. I don't use a tripod for the u/w stuff.

Thanks. I’ve seen people using tripods before underwater.
Was there much damage to the reef from typhoon Odette in 2021?
@@nyfrogman
Not that we noticed. We only did one day at Apo. Most of our dives were in the muck. We did see some damage, later in the trip, at Sumilon Island.
That's amazing. The nudis are incredible. Over how many dives was this?? Were you with a good guide?
We probably did around 17 or 18 dives in Dumaguete. We did have a good guide. Many of the guides there are good at finding the small critters.
Can you recommend a dive center and/or a guide ?
