I have a request, could you PLEASE make a diy budgie toys video? My friend recently bought me two budgies as a gift, and I've been looking EVERYWHERE (both online and irl) for a place that sells budgie toys where I live, and can't find any
I've bought my budgies a cuttlebone as a source of calcium and to use as a toy, but they keep biting the swing I bought them, perches, and even the paint off of their cage.

My bird doesn’t bite, he preens my finger 🥲
My budgie got moved into a new bigger cage recently and only just started biting. She never used to bite before but I’m unsure on how to get her to be less aggressive when I’m near her cage. I give her the space she needs but she never seems to want to leave the cage, even if I bribe with treats. I get that environmental changes can sometimes be big for birds but she used to be so friendly before 🤷♀️
I think what I’m trying to say is, how can I rebuild the trust between me and my bird? ☹️
Just give them time and re-bond over time. Imagine if some giant forcefully re-homed you (even if it was in the best of intentions).
What kind of stores have young little parakeets do all and how to know if the parakeet young if you don’t exactly know what color it is and what is the thing where she’s nostrils are I’ve been wondering hmm🤔

How to teach your parakeet to talk to you or is that possible and isn’t there germs in a parakeets mouth so if you share your food with it or you get germs in your mouth and in the parakeets or is it all right and what food is edible for a parakeet are they allergic to anything? Cause I don’t wanna accidentally poison a parakeet if I feed a food that it is not well that it cannot have like if you did a grape is a great poisonous to it or would it be a close call?😅
My birds are just playful.I dont know any way that i could make them hate me or smth.im cleaning their cage often,i give them treats,pet them and spent just enough time with them.But one of my 2 birds is just biting too hard!te first one cares about me and doesnt wanna bite me hard at all.Its just playing with me and trying to stand on my hand but still too scared so only put his 1 leg on me and i called it like he is giving me a high five.The other bird sees us playing and kicks the first bird and starts biting me and giving me a high five like he does.It looks like she just wanna be loved by me but i love them both equally.Im treating them the same.One time she bited me to blood but not on purpose.Looks like she is just like tat bc i remember the time she bite me first time and it was all same like now.If i made any mistakes or if u wanna tell me some more about what should i do pls tell me in reply❤🐦🐥🪶

Hi I had some really necessary questions that I’ll be really happy if u could help me with , so I have two budgies they just had there first eggs but I think there’s some problems ! The female one is losing a lot of feathers near her stomach and chest that i clearly see her skin do u thinks it’s bcs of sickness or bcs that she’s spending lots of her time on her eggs ?! And my male one accidentally without me knowing eat a little of chocolate and cheese like about three bites of each of them is it really bad or anything in need that I need to do in this situation?! And just wanted to say thanks for all of your beautiful videos they really helped me when I got them a couple years ago , so thanks very very much for everything !!

You cant, you need to take your bird to the vet, its sick or dying.
If you need to tame it for it to love you and make it love you to tame it how do you make it love you or tame it if it needs each other love and tame for trust?
2:25 so, are these gloves supposed to protect my hand? I have a Quaker that used to draw blood when biting me- those gloves wouldn’t have done shit to stop her from making me bleed. Not a good suggestion at all!!
Don't wear gloves as a way to help when you get nipped.

How can you train a parakeet to not bite, you if you can’t discipline them
Mine play-bites, and it doesn't hurt. I actually think it's adorable. Is that a bad habit that I need to break, or is it okay if it's not aggressive, and I warn people before they hold him?

I noticed when most people meet a birb for the first time they put their finger in the birbs face. I have a double yellow head that is a bit nervous and he won't come to me most of the time unless his girlfriend is with me. She's a little blue fronted Amazon. She loves being with me and Taco the double yellow head is her boyfriend. They are bonded
What if the female always bites when I feed her with my hand, I don't make react, but it's really hurt...
How about, don't touch the bird if she doesn't want to, don't poke her, don't annoy her, leave her alone???? These are the most obvious reasons she will bite. Some people just can't stop teasing animals

Give them some time, they might be afraid or not comfortable, look at the place their cage is or if they are new give them time to adjust to you
My Baby Farkle passed away a few months ago. I recently got another budgie for my other Budgie. Her wings had been clipped. I'm trying to get her on my finger, but she bites me every time. She got out of the cage by jumping, and I had to pick her up to put her back. Help
Dont clip her wings unless its nessasary, birds rely on flight more than anything, if you take that away from them, they will be miserable.

i have a really aggressive female budgie and it bites as soon as any of our fingers touch the cage and it literally bleeds and its impossible to bare it. i've tried these ways and everyhting but idk how a BUDGIE can bite u till u bleed. even her kids bite really bad but its still bearable compared to her. and its impossible to tame her cz she wont eat from our hand not bcz shes scared but she attacks us so i have no idea what to do.
Get rid of the bird.

i have a similar problem, i have 1 female budgie and she bites me a lot, almost until i bleed, sometimes when shes in the cage i can scritch her cheeks and she enjoys it, sometimes she nibbles at me niceley or preens my face.
@@behkleei mines atually a rescued one a friend found her stuck in her bacony and tbh i regret keeping her bcz she took over the other budgies cage and basically everything. bcz of her i cant bond w he others

I'm saving this for later, one of my birds likes to bite a lot, she chews her cage even when they have a lot of toys to chew to, and when i'm feeding them or cleaning their cage she lands on my hand and bites me😭😭

Guess I'm putting bandaids on all my birth marks and freckles. My tiel will bite so hard and shake her head when she thinks shes cuddling and playing with me. She acts so sweet and innocent when she flies to me and decides to come up to my neck, I'm like "ok be still and nothing will happen".. and then all of a sudden she gets hyper and decides I'm her chew toy. Putting her down just makes her angry and she'll come back later to do the same. I've tried to offer a toy and she gets mad at it and tries to go back to my skin.. lol I love her but she's so deceptive.

@@Rosiest My bird is also a living paper shredder and a professional finger biter/chewer. You put your finger out for him, he latches on with his beak and chews really hard. He used to be so much friendlier now he won't let us even pet him and we have to distract him with treats when we change his food and water😭

Kind of bad advice all around. Don't feel pain, dont show fear, offer your flesh. There are bonding excercises and good practices to make the parakeet feel safe. They sound way more legit then "power through it". I am still concerned about how to make your two parakeets not hate each other.

1st one is a no good advice. Always react and in a bad way. The bird learns and knows. If you cannot teach a bird and you act if like bothing happens you are actually teaching it that you do not mind being bitten. Even if my bird does not want me to be in its personal space i still react that way. To teach it biting is not okay. Heck i even had a female breeding that did not bite. These tips where kind off bad in my opinion
