I always liked Stewart when the episodes weren't about him but featured him. They always did him dirty for the sake of jokes when he was focused on. This show always kinda made me think everyone is suppose to be kinda likable but also pretty dislikable as well. There's not a single character that's blatantly one way or the other.
I always felt kinda bad for Bert. He's the classic big, dopey guy, which is something I kinda relate to. He's overall a really nice guy, unlike Sheldon who is constantly in his own world. Sheldon is unaware when he's mean to people. Bert was never mean to anyone. He just wants friends. So do I

The fan was the only one not interviewed like Sheldon.

My experience with scientists is that they aren't any more likely to be into super heroes or fantasy or video games than anyone else. Maybe a bit less because they tend to be workaholics, which is definitely not portrayed in the show. They tend to like sci-fi though. With regard to the recycled clips we've all seen a thousand times: Obviously, mom (or dad) only knows how to cook a handful of meals, so until we can afford to pay for our own meals, we should just be grateful for what is provided. Do we get tired of being served leftovers? Sure. But at least we know our tummies aren't hungry, and we know it's still gonna taste good... just gotta suck it up until we learn to cook or can buy our own meals. (IE: buy the entire series, or pay for the streaming service that provides it.)

I swear, i am glued to this channel cause Netflix (india specially) removed the series!!!! Like i didn't even get to binge watch it again and again!!! I had to rush to finish the series too before it was removed.
Love Penny....she's intelligent but at the same time she's ditzy...or clueless about some things... But I love when she puts Sheldon in his place and uses the Parenting book on him.
Penny/Kaley is great and we love her range of faces, but Mayim is the real comedian talent with her subtle way and how she throws the most absurd lines keeping a total SERIOUS face.
Also, the idea that girls don't like comic books (in what universe??) or Star Trek (hello, Lucille Ball, Mother of Trek??) or anything of "nerd" culture... is frankly worthy of lobotomy.

RPGs, video games and comic books represent vast communities that include a lot of non-nerdy persons, and yes, even women. I've played tabletop rpgs for nearly 30 years and I've always had women at my table. Liking Star Wars or video games doesn't make you a nerd, it just makes you one of the hundreds of millions of people who like these things around the world.
