    Thanks for explaining the stitching on textured fabrics not looking straight. Now I understand why I have stitching on textured vinyls etc looking crooked even though I knew I stitched straight

    Another great video Chris. I like how you keep striving for ideas to make something functional and simple. Also might i say that you look really good in that tone of green 💚💖

    Chris, just found this video. Could you use a zipper tab instead of leaving a long tail? I’m not a fan of long tails on my bags. Love this video.

      Absolutely! I need to write a pattern for this bag, I will probably add that in the pattern. It will look much better!

    I notice in the stores here that many of the bags for the spring have the quilting with puffy look. Could you do something with that?

    • @simplyclassic
      @simplyclassic  Год назад

      Yes, you can actually do it with this bag, you would just have to add more foam and batting. I have seen them super puffy! It is all personal preference, a style!

    So the long zip piece is on the inside of the lining? Not sure if I like that idea. Could you explain why you did not cut it off short?

    • @simplyclassic
      @simplyclassic  Год назад +1

      Yes! When I cut it short it caused a bump that was visible from the outside. I found when I left it long, it all laid flatter.

    I will be sewing with my industrial sewing machine. Is a 135x16 size 18 be the correct needle?

    • @simplyclassic
      @simplyclassic  Год назад +1

      It is a 135 x 17 needle, size 18. But what machine do you have, they can vary. This is the size both of mine take. I believe the Juki, Thor, etc take these as well.
