Thank you for watching!
Chris
Just love the black and tan one.
That is beautiful! Love the zipper tassel and the back zipper!
Sorry I missed your live. We had a super nice sunny day and so I was outside all day. This bag is very pretty. Great design.
Thanks for explaining the stitching on textured fabrics not looking straight. Now I understand why I have stitching on textured vinyls etc looking crooked even though I knew I stitched straight
Another great video Chris. I like how you keep striving for ideas to make something functional and simple. Also might i say that you look really good in that tone of green 💚💖
Thank you so much ☺️
Chris, I love your videos! The way you explain the thought process of the bag designs as well as your techniques is so beneficial! Keep it up!
Thank you so much for watching!
Has this pattern been released at this time? I have your beautiful kit and can’t wait to make it. This leather is gorgeous!
Not yet, we are planning for a fall release, just before the holidays.
@@simplyclassic Thank you!
Chris, just found this video. Could you use a zipper tab instead of leaving a long tail? I’m not a fan of long tails on my bags. Love this video.
Absolutely! I need to write a pattern for this bag, I will probably add that in the pattern. It will look much better!
Hi Cris, I love your tutorials. Can I ask were you get your logos? I have been looking for something like that and haven’t been able to find anything. Hope you can help. Thank you and have a great weekend.
Yes, I get them from an Etsy shop called Metal Things Art. Here is a link www.etsy.com/listing/586812331/advance-payment-for-a-virtual-3d-proof
I notice in the stores here that many of the bags for the spring have the quilting with puffy look. Could you do something with that?
Yes, you can actually do it with this bag, you would just have to add more foam and batting. I have seen them super puffy! It is all personal preference, a style!
So the long zip piece is on the inside of the lining? Not sure if I like that idea. Could you explain why you did not cut it off short?
Yes! When I cut it short it caused a bump that was visible from the outside. I found when I left it long, it all laid flatter.
I have a question, where can i get my metal name plates made? Ilove your name plate you use.
I get mine from an Etsy shop called Metal Things Art. Here is a link www.etsy.com/listing/586812331/advance-payment-for-a-virtual-3d-proof
I will be sewing with my industrial sewing machine. Is a 135x16 size 18 be the correct needle?
It is a 135 x 17 needle, size 18. But what machine do you have, they can vary. This is the size both of mine take. I believe the Juki, Thor, etc take these as well.
I have. Seiko industrial walking foot machine
How can i purchase the pattern for this beautiful clutch bag? Thank you.
Thank you for watching. We had some kits available that included the pattern pieces but they sold out. Please email me at chris@simplyclassic.net and I will email you the pattern pieces.
Hi Chris I was trying to get the pattern for this bag but I can’t find it on your website, how can I purchase the pattern?? Thank you
I actually do not have a written pattern for this……yet. The plan was to get it completed before the end of the year but life has gotten in the way. Please stay tuned and I will have it completed soon. Thank you for asking!
@@simplyclassic ok thank you so much
How ounces is the leather?
It is a 2 ounce leather, about .8mm thick.
