I have watched the complete series, I have a doubt; Haolan and the princess Ya's last talk, the regret Haolan mentioned that she would have accepted the marriage proposal at the time of her imprisonment in Zhang state.
Who exactly she wants to marry??? Was it Zhao's king (father of Princess Ya )

I always felt sorry for Siluo in this series. 1-Haolan's marriage to Zichu was only a sham to save Haolan's life 2-Haolan was very clear on this and even told him, she would not make trouble if he find a wife he really loves. Well when he went home, he DID find love, with Siluo. Siluo was the one legally married in that country with the parents' permission following the legal requirements and she gave birth to a son. In every aspect, she was 100% the legal, legitimate wife who had done things properly. Haolan never should have had any other status than concubine and she had no right whatsoever to get upset that her sham husband had found legitimate legal marriage and real love.

I think you didn't watch this drama in the right way lol Siluo was a bitch that liked to meddle in others business and that's why she died (she should've had died in a worst way for what she did but unfortunately she died like that). Zichu never loved her, Siluo was only a path, like his others concubines to bring Haolan and his son back to Qin. Since Zichu didn't love her, she always tried to force affection mainly exposing her pitiful past ugh 🙄 without any self proud and capability. She end up like a burden to Zichu (If she was a better person he would've respect her and let her live a good life) and at the same time, she was a good path to Zichu pass the throne to Zheng'er. She was stupid letting others use her like a path to conquer their objectives and a snake trying to hurt others bc she didn't has the capability to conquer respect with her own character. It's really annoying theses type of person who like to act pitifully, always blaming their own life for their misfortunes, when a life is made of decisions. Everyone has a choice and in her case she choosed the worst path. She end up mad with ambitious and did many kind of dirty stuff so for what she did she get what deserved.

Oh zichu end up falling in love for Haolan (what I truly doubt, I hate this mothertrucke) and Haolan fall for him back, that's why they had a son together. She accepted be his legitimate wife and share his struggles. She risked her life for him many times and in the final even respect she didn't received from him.

@@artisinsimplethings2155 I agree with everything you said! Not to mention that, while they did in the beginning just marry to save haolan, their relationship evolved a lot. I believe Zichu respected haolan, but got even more respect when she said he would die with him when Princess Ya tried to get him executed. Not only that but Haolan also actively helped him to get into Qin.
I totally agree that Zichu is quite selfish, I don't understand how people think he loved Silou at any given point. He was always clearly acting around her and as soon as he heard about Haolan being in Qin's capital he dropped everything and went after her and his son. If Haolan was not that important and he loved Silou so much, he wouldn't have fought against the idea of Haolan being just "concubine zao". Instead made her Crown Princess.
He also warned her that there was no point in competing with Haolan. She still did and dug her own grave.

@@Dianuxkasfenix yeah I watch the clipping where he told he to stay far away from the queen, to stop having ambitions and to stop irritating her but she did take the advise. I also saw when he married her the look on his face when he was about to lay down with her said it all. He did it to get the dowager off his back and he never trusted her.
