I am asking my bridesmaids (well half of them) this Sunday and I already have their proposal boxes done, but these are so so cute! Love the personalized candle! I also did mine for $25 and it's so important to stay on budget, but also give them things that are meaningful and useful. I think I may need to invest in a cricut :)
My partner and myself just started talking about our wedding to our closest friends then part way though went "oh yeah I've chosen you as my witness thanks" 😊 We're not having an actual wedding party is pretty much why we did that though.
I think a lot of people do toiletries because it's affordable. I agree with you, toiletries for a wedding party proposal is a lil silly. It can feel very generic/half-assed and not personal to the bridesmaids or the couple.

Things like skincare stuff is always a bit hit with the Ladies and frankly it's fine. I don't know what else is there to add. Care to suggest some ideas? Might give others some options.
Isn't this something that is totally unnecessary and a way to save money. I would have much rather had the amount spent on it to use for the wedding. Between bridesmaids dresses travel possible hotel stay makeup hair it adds up quickly and people are trying to have less things.
Definitely unnecessary, but some people enjoy gifting this sort of thing and this is a fairly adorable way to do proposal boxes *if* you already have the machine (or one with similar capabilities).
You can also always do a box of consumables. Pair a split of Champagne or Prosecco with a pretty chocolate bar and call it a day. If you wanted to add more for a full box, add bubble bath/a homemade bath bomb/lotion/a face mask and a small candle. All of those are items that can be used up, so there’s no concern about adding stuff to a person’s home permanently. You can easily build an entire box of the above for the same or less than $25. A split of bubbly and chocolate bar would only be able $10-12.
@@mortviolette284 yes I was surprised she featured this when this is all about budgeting for a wedding. I also think the matching getting ready bride dressing gowns are unnecessary. There is so much pressure to have the perfect Instagram photos and this type of item feeds into it. If this wasn't a channel about doing a wedding on a budget I probably would have no problems with it even though I don't think it's needed
What’s unnecessary to you may be important to someone else. You could say anything you don’t want in your wedding is unnecessary but that is just your opinion. Some people think favors are unnecessary. Heck, some might say a wedding itself is unnecessary. It’s possible to do things like this on a budget too. A) it doesn’t have to have everything she showed In this video B) this could be just a maid of honor box, not a bunch of people, and C) the items you use may be cheaper than Jaime showed. You could do a dollar store wine glass or mug. Or no personalization, but instead a little hand written note instead.
@@JenaAnnissa I understand your point but I have been a bridesmaid so many times and I enjoy doing it for close friends but it costs money and if they are going to spend money it would be nice towards hair and makeup but everyone does what works for them. I'm not judging just a little surprised since this is such a budget wedding channel but however you do yours I'm sure it will be wonderful
