The point wasn't to do "our version" of the song, but play As I Lay Dying's version for THEIR fans who weren't able to see them on this tour because of their circumstances. We were trying to honor them and their fans, not change as you mentioned, an already awesome song.

I saw these guys on this tour when when they came to Michigan. I had never heard of them before, but they acknowledged that a good amount of people were there to see AILD instead of themselves, and I respected these guys so much for that. Awesome band

Quickscript Telle's insane. I saw TWA live and he hit every note perfectly, his transitions from cleans to screams were flawless
Uh yeah except he's obviously using an echo and reverb effect on that mic. Makes it almost effortless to scream.

Just coz one guy fucked up in a band, doesnt mean you cannot cover it! As I lay dying came up with some insane riffs the past decade and they have left their own legacy in the music (specifically metalcore) industry. They may be fucked up now, but their music speaks louder.
And that's what matters.
Rewatching this and hearing Luke's peds 2:05 Damn, I will miss that guy in TWA

I won't change mind due to the fact that I own all of As I Lay Dyings albums and have heard all of their songs many times.
Okay, well then you should have heard his screams in 94 hours and in whispering silence, and in greater foundation, all of which I've never heard another vocalist scream like that accept for Jesse Leach.
In my personal opinion I think Telle is better I'm not going to suddenly change my mind because I listen to a few songs. I understand You think Tim is better and that is your opinion but don't ask me to change mine. I don't listen to anything with Tim anymore because he is a disgusting and hypocritical person.
