Excellent idea keeping the voice over videos for just the members, I love the quiet content and would hate for that to be overhauled by voice over but would definitely become a member to also learn a lot more about your processes! Great job
Man I rely on you’re videos every night😂 I’ve watched every single one, it’s like asmar puts people to sleep but I find those stupid, I love woodwork and any other woodworking videos on here have people talking and that’s a distraction for when I need sleep😂 I appreciate the content you post!
That would be a great project to introduce people to steam bending wood. There is a bunch of stuff you can make that way. Your back scratcher turned out great. When I saw you cutting the finger short I said what is he doing.... ah its the thumb. Great job
I used 6 in white sewer pipe and a big old kettle for my steamer. It works great. That is one obnoxious sound Andy. I sure love these one off projects you come to us with. This one I need, LOL. Nice to take a bit of time away from customers work eh. That live edge table will be amazing eh.
This is the second video I watched of ur vids and ur in my top two RUclipsr the first vid was airplane for my son I hope you get blessed for the rest of ur life
Hey I’m new subscriber to your channel and wanted to say I love what you’re doing. I have played around with Wood working and it is NOT easy. The talent you contain to create these things is amazing. Good job man. Also. (Not that’s it’s my business) but I noticed you wore a wedding ring in your earlier videos that I’ve went back at watched, but didn’t have one in this video. Hope and pray all is well.
Dude love that and need one. BTW I turned on CC for the video and while the band saw runs CC says it is music and while you where using the back saw the CC said you were singing. LOVIN IT.
06:58 i coulda sworn i saw that disc sander spinning counter clockwise and he was sanding on the upward spinning side, correct me if I’m wrong, wouldn’t you want to spin into the downward spinning side so it pushes the piece into the table rather than up into your face?
Consider this Please: I noticed the stock you used and it reminded me of a yardstick, though yours was shorter. Could you make a yardstick stencil for spraying? If you did, then, you could produce yard sticks on long stock and spray on the markings and even your own logo. It would make a unique shop and youtube advertisement offering. Bo.
I enjoy the quite content, seems like you are just in your element chillin having a great time. I was wondering though, are you ever listening to some tunes while your working? For some reason I need music...Anyway keep your videos coming they are awesome.
So, general question. I see you use the Lee Nielsen spokeshaves a LOT. Which do you prefer, the flat-sole, or the rounded sole? I'm looking at getting my first spokeshave, and it'll definitely be a LN after how nice my low-angle jack from them works. :)
Yes. In certain shapes and situations glass can be incredibly durable. It must have _simply_ hit a _safe_ spot on the first impact and a weaker area on the second landing.
I saw you using the right side of your disc sander in a previous video. I've had stuff catch on the left side and thought "I've got to try that". After getting hit in the face, I'll stick to the left side.
I watch because I like your content, the silent format is unfortunately something I just deal with. I just hope that you don't think that one element of your videos is why people watch them.
Because you can make anything with wood, does the diminishing returns worth the effort? In my case no. They sell these for a dollar at the dollar store and they are made out of bamboo.
You are very skillful! I'd love to make one of those, but then, what would the wife do. I mean, there's so very little she does now. I can at least count on her to scratch an itch now and then. Wink wink. Nudge nudge.
That's dumb. You took too much of the curve off. And no back scratcher ever has a small thumb on it. The whole point is the scratch your back, not look more 'hand' like.
Excellent idea keeping the voice over videos for just the members, I love the quiet content and would hate for that to be overhauled by voice over but would definitely become a member to also learn a lot more about your processes! Great job
Funny how those automatic close captions recognized the table saw as a *music* and hand saw as *laughter*.
if you’re looking for an idea maybe try to make a hockey stick? you could make a hockey puck too lol
BUTTSCRATCHA!!
Lucas I’ve a attempted making a hockey stick but trying to get the curve is hard
Polaris Polaris i’d imagine so. im sure andy is up for the challenge though!
Great video again Andy! I would be so nervous bending the wood, I feel like it would snap but you did a great job!
Thanks for keeping them quiet...watching you work is better than ASMR. :-D
Great project! Thanks for sharing!
I love seeing your work Andy.
Obviously you did this for fun. That's what woodworking is all about. Thanks.
You could say that hand, made of wood, will come in handy and was hand-made.

Spoke shave always comes in handy with these types of projects

Cool project :) Would love to see more of your thoughts & tips on steam bending
Love your work. You should make a wood baseball helmet or something creative. Also another epoxy table!

I enjoy the quite content, seems like you are just in your element chillin having a great time. I was wondering though, are you ever listening to some tunes while your working? For some reason I need music...Anyway keep your videos coming they are awesome.
I would love to see something like a designer hand carved pinewood derby car, it might be a fun project. Just an idea

Hey Andy. Love your videos, was just wondering which saw you would begin working with as a new woodworker. Ban saw or Table saw??
Did that glass light bulb bounce off? Can glass do that?
Yes. In certain shapes and situations glass can be incredibly durable. It must have _simply_ hit a _safe_ spot on the first impact and a weaker area on the second landing.
Baaaaaaacccccccck Scraaaaatttttchhhhher !!! (Peter griffin voice)

Love your videos. I think it would look more hand like if the gap between the thumb and pointer finger was longer.
You should try making a wooden deer skull carving.
How specific
check out U.S skull hunter. he carved a "deer skull" out of a block of wood. he also carves on actual skulls
Do you have any idea why my band saw blade curves left(toward the machine) when I start a cut instead of making just a straight cut?
Mr Rawls is there a particular brand of sanding paper you prefer? Thanks
BACK SCRATCHER!!! GET YER BACK SCRATCHER!

Hey Andy, It looks like you have made a Dual purpose item Backscratcher/Switch.
what wood did u use?
Would you consider making a video on one of the tables you’ve been making?
I would love to see an in-depth look at one of his tables.
Hey Andy, how long did you leave the wood in the vice?
I actually put it in my kiln for around 3 hours to dry it out. It probably should sit for several days to limit the spring back.
A thumb , i thought it was a Diresta pinky lol
I need to show that to my teacher

I just hope that you don't think that one element of your videos is why people watch them.
No captions?
Hi Andy
Because you can make anything with wood, does the diminishing returns worth the effort? In my case no. They sell these for a dollar at the dollar store and they are made out of bamboo.
You're missing the point.
Can u try to make a angel?
Funny!

Sorry for the terrible English i'm from Germany 🙈

I DIDN'T WANT TO WATCH A ADD ABOUT AN ALARM SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!
You are very skillful! I'd love to make one of those, but then, what would the wife do. I mean, there's so very little she does now. I can at least count on her to scratch an itch now and then. Wink wink. Nudge nudge.
