I need to replace the splined stud that is in the rack and pinion assembly and attaches to the 'knuckle joint' on the steering wheel column that you show at time 10:00 in the video. I can't get the round rubber seal out of the section that holds the splined stud, no matter how hard I try. If you have done this, I'd sure like to know how you got that black round rubber seal out of there. Thank you.
Good vid and was wondering, grand daughter hit a pole and can't turn left now, took off rack and pinion but not sure it's bad. If I replaced it do you think it would fix problem thanks a bunch
I realize this is an older video, but why did you change the rack and pinion steering box in the first place? Was the old one you remove bad with too much wear that couldn't be adjusted out? Just wondering since golf carts don't get serious milage on them.
Did you have any sloop in the steering prior to replacement? Mine has a little bit of play and I’m trying to see it it’s just the unions or the steering box.

How did these parts do ? Just curious amazon parts are half the price from golf cart web sites.

It’s always the bushings. I don’t have this issue but you have play because the tie rod ends aren’t quite right or the drag links.
Can you replace just one side or do you need to get the entire assembly ?
Where is the ball joint install video
Your hands are WAY to clean!!

I'm guessing they are thinking how the hell are your hands so clean if you've been doing this job in particular!? Mine are not clean what so ever lmao
