I'm the type of person that goes by the number, so on this one it would be 1-220 ... and I'd personally just put them in little baggies and then keep in number order in a tray/basket... I don't even use a table to do mine... I use a piece of cardboard behind my light pad for support and just hold it up while sitting on the couch (resting on my chest) lol .... my little basket fits my current WIP 50 colors just fine but I do have a couple different size organizer/drawer baskets to use if needed... I much prefer using tweezers on my square projects... I'm a easy going simplistic person, don't want / need all the clutter and frills ... I love this painting and it turned out beautiful ! I have my eye on a project with 180 colors but haven't taken the plunge yet. You did an awesome job showing and explaining your process and your channel is wonderful... it was one of the first ones I found when I stated DP a few months ago and what lead me to do SWM22, which was my first square and also my first big one but also ONLY the 2nd dp I'd ever done... Love the challenge and would love to jump off the cliff into a super big one this this... so amazing girl.... I know it would take me twice as long to do, since only allow myself one to two hrs a day to work on DP. (have full time job) but I can imagine the detail would be awesome !
Hi. I'm a new subscriber, because of the painting. I love this painting. I'm really horse cazy(I have some horses) I'm excited you are starting the painting.
Hi Ingrid! Welcome!! I’m so glad that you’re here. I’m excited to be starting this gorgeous canvas, too, and I’ll definitely be keeping you updated! ☺️
I have to laugh because tonight I’m both kitting up my first DAC, Randal Spangler and using the Elizabeth Ward system so I of course turned to my personal diamond Painting guru for advice on how to organize with the different sized containers and volume of drills in the kit. I had no idea what kit or brand you we kitting when I hit play. OMG diamond Deutch is crazy but your methodology was mind blowing. I am impressed. I feel like because I watch you regularly and particularly thru D&C 2021 I got your technique osmosisly. Because what I did in a smaller scale matched what you did large scale by organizing bags first by volume and matching to containers and then I think if it works moving to DMC order. I assume putting the boxes back not in size order becomes another challenge making them fit. But once again thank you for always having a how to for my rookie challenges. ✌️❤️💎
I think it would help on those six small boxes that I would number them 1to6.or use letters and note it on the sheet. That way you wouldn't have to look through them all to find a symbol. Take care everyone and stay safe 😘😊🤗
Thank you! I've changed it around a bit since this video, but it's pretty similar still! Having it well-organized makes a world of difference with that many colors.
Hi Valerie! Welcome!! I’m so glad you’re here ☺️ And thank you for the luck! I put this project aside for a few weeks to work on some Christmas-y kits, but I’m planning to get back to it here in a couple of days, and share an update, too!
First I sorted in Black or White Numbers and second in blue Symbol with white Numbers or blue Symbol with Black Numbers. An than I take for example all orange-white numbers with hammers 🔨⛏️ next to the other Orange-White hammer, so I find easy the right symbol. I hope you can understand my german > english. Enjoy painting now 😁👍.
Thank you so much, Antje! I did understand that, thank you! You know, I did end up reorganizing my drills by color, similar to what you suggested. It definitely helps! Thank you!!
I loved the video, I personally love kitting up 🙌 But I'm not sure how much I would like to kit up that many colors 😅 Definitely needs a lot of organization
@@DiamondsandWashi I'd definitely try it, I haven't done a big canvas yet but I'm looking forward to getting bigger ones. And this one in particular is beautiful, I love the colors 😍
I would color code all containers to match dmc codes on your legend , so for the Elizabeth wards put a colored sticker on it and then mark the legend with the same color and then when you look at those symbols you'll know where to look , and if you keep it in dmc order within the whole tray it will be easy to find also
@@DiamondsandWashi my brain works weird like that also and I'm always trying to find ways to find the colors easier , and I pretty much color codes whole life 🤣🤣🙈🙈
Hi Claire! Thank you so much for being here and subscribing! My cat (Dolce) is super shy, but I’ll see if I can share a picture or two of her in one of my upcoming WIP & Chat videos - keep an eye out! ☺️
Excellent work!! I must have missed when you talked about the symbol sticker sheets, did they come with the kit?-never mind -while watching another of your Unboxing videos you do mention the sticker sheets come with the kit.
How did you determine the least amount of drills? How did you sort it out? I have 191 colors from Uniquely yours... and using the same containers...Like was it under 500 was the tiny then 500 to 900 next etc?
Hi there - yes, they do restock their kits. You can email them (they speak English) to ask for an estimated restock date, and you can also place an order that way.

Wow!! Those symbols!! Yowza!! 😱
You're sending me on a trip down memory lane, haha!
I love how you work out what you want to put in what containers before you start, this would make kit up so much easier 🤩
I love that mentality “set yourself up for success” ! You got this !
Thanks, Taryn!! I really think it helped!
This actually does sound kind of fun! I enjoy that type of organization!
Girrrlll, add it to your bucket list!! It’s way fun!
Img, I would love to kit up with so many colours 🤘🤗🤗🤗🤗 AMAZING🥰🥰🥰🥰

My cat does the same 🤣
I love tick-tock boxes for kiting up 🤗🤘

I’m new to this hobby. Where are you getting the stickers to put on the containers?!?!

Do you know how many drills will fit in each size of storage from Elisabeth Ward?
I truly believe that you were a project manager in a prior life 😂
You know, I think that's a distinct possibility 😂😂
How did you figure how many drills each container holds? I'm on the level of crazy that I really want to do an Elizabeth Ward too.
Honestly, I just tried different amounts to get a sense for how many each held! 😅

Hi I’m very interested from buying the magical merry go around do they restock kits and do I pay through pay pal ? Thanks for your help ❤️
