you really should use dab. its pretty crucial for cornering and not falling over. Dabbing is putting your foot down. I have it mapped to L3. Also, strongly disagree about using the first person camera. I mean, I play in first person now exclusively, but the game has a pretty steep learning curve, and a huge amount of the difficulty is in learning the leaning and stuff, and it can be much harder to wrap your mind around leaning if you can hardly tell what direction your leaning. If your well adjusted to the game, then ya, I recommend FP because its just more immersive (i play in VR) but if your a beginner, like the guide is for, don't feel like the game has to be played in FP, and I would recommend 3rdP till you get the hang of the controls.

I bought the game and my controller doesnt work on the game all other games work but on this game left stick ps4 controller it bugs its reversed no mstter what i do and when i turn it 1% and it turns all the way and sticks there no problem on controller its the game help pls
there's just one recommendation i can make and its to put the sit button on the left stick instead of the right because your right thumb is gonna be doing a lot of moving around while your is most like staying on the stick while riding.
He said in this video you will hardly ever need to use right stick, so maybe thats why he put sit on right stick button ?, what is rider lean even for, just whips ?
@@ChrisDaytrader Personally I find rider lean immensely helpful when leaning into ruts for a faster cornering speed and overall a quicker exit. Since I usually switch between sitting and standing for those corners, having it on the same stick that I'm leaning with got annoying. As well as that I use the face buttons for shifting and sometimes I change stance while shifting. It's all personal preference though.
@@steeliest Dam, my brain cant cope with the difficulty of this game, but its great, i just cant stay on the bike, have tried alot of peoples controller setting, but no go for me, when i take off on some big jumps, my bike is all over the place, even when i dont touch any sticks, very strange ? im using xbox series x controller, thx for reply.
@@ChrisDaytrader Yeah, it's definitely difficult but it comes with time. Took me a couple days, maybe about 5 hours in-game before I started to feel comfortable on the bike and to understand the nuances of the physics.
how do u get the premade number off ur bike/person? no matter what skin i download for my bike it always has the shit number plastered on it from the base game.
in the bike screen. on the options called 'font'. should have 2 of them, Bike font and Rider font, and they will have a Default Black, Default White, or None option. Pretty simple to figure out

Auto dab will attempt to stop you falling at low speed. As if putting your foot out to stop tipping over. Problem we all had was it stopped you scrubbing jumps, not sure if that's still the case though.

You must have folders for tracks, bikes, gear, etc. setup in your MX Bikes program files folder, or in your My Documents folder under PiBoSo. mxb-mods.com/example-structure-of-mods
My frame rate is like 2 FPS on really detailed tracks and I literally cant move my mouse, but it’s fine on smaller tracks, like lommel doesn’t work anymore but it used to work just fine, what do I do
So right after it says input x for lean forward and backwards there’s a x looking symbol you want to make sure that’s the circular figure ( obviously your not using x to lean but that’s just for reference kinda like a variable in math)

You will most likely need to make sure you have the most current “OEM Bikes” installed. You can find that on MXBmods

i have a lower end laptop and the graphics are kinda shitty but the fps is a standard 60
