Kramer was such a legendary character. Audience applauded at his entrance everytime until it was stopped. If Seinfeld aired in this social media era he'd always be trending no 1.
Hank Bauer was 71 yrs old at the time. I doubt he was "chasing" Kramer. Mantle, Pepitone, Skowron and Boyer all played together for one season - 1962, Pepitone's first year in the league. Skowron was traded the following season. Fun Fact: Joe Pepitone was hit by a pitch 31 times in his career. The record for the modern era (post 1901) is 50 times by Ron Hunt.
Michael Richards never rehearsed his scenes with the group so you can see their legitimate and natural reactions to everything he's doing here in terms of his body language. Great stuff.
@@theproudrebel Of course he rehearsed with them. They have to make sure they get their timing and choreography right, and the camera crew has to coordinate all their blocking acording to the actors postions etc.. Michael would hold back his acrobatics, facial expressions, noises etc until filming when the audience was there.
"There was an incident....I punched Mickey Mantle" ...Cosmo Kramer. Classic show which is still very relevant today. Those were long weeks between episodes back then, but it was always worth the wait!

If they had applauded like that at the Laugh Factory, he might still be around
@@upland77 tough crowd that night.
_"MICKEY, MICKEY!!! WHAT HAVE YA DONE WITH MICKEY?!? YA KILLED MICKEY!!!"_
Gotta love that little fast delivery and tone change. It sells the story! 🤣
Kramer's whole life is a fantasy camp! 😂😂
“So..I had to plunk him..”Still gets me😂😂😂😂
"I love you, Mickey! I love you!!" 🤣🤣
The real fantasy camp is how Kramer is able to get buy without a job or income in his entire life 😂
remember he won money on a horse race.
equivalent to about $40,000 today.
plus his book about coffee tables, someone bought the film rights for it.
MR is such a terrific actor!
Elaine came within nano seconds of busting a gut @ 3:24 🤣🤣🤣
"You got Babu deported!" 🤣
a perfectly sane thing to do!
Kramer can live with punching Mickey Mantle but he could never live with himself if he did anything to harm Bette Middler
Babu seems to be the only side character that Jerry cared about. Every time someone else had a misfortune, Jerry's attitude was "that's a shame".
Where is Babu?
What happened to Babu?
Show me Babu!
Too fruity!
Joe Pepitone was always a hothead. He should never have charged the mound.

There has to be a blooper somewhere of Julia losing it when he says "into a horse".
ehhhh...I wouldn't say he never rehearsed his scenes, that's kind of a stretch

@@bossfan49He did a table read and that was it
he rehearsed with the rest of the cast, was some of it improvised? sure, but to say he never rehearsed, that's simply not true
Kramer 😂

Kramer tell Jerry and Elaine about punch Mickey Mantle
Whoa man, it’s Mickey!!! 🤣

Woah man it's Mikey!
That line always lives rent free in my mind.
