Hi Simon, I hope you are well! Yes that's one of the things that I really admire about this model. The designer has clearly thought through every connection, detail and part use to achieve the best possible result with this system of parts. Examples of this are the particularly well finished dashboard and side-well areas of the model; they are just beautiful!

Really excellent review. I appreciate your attention to detail and that you slowly go over all aspects. I am a longtime Lego fan and love the 1:8 supercar series, but they are fantastically expensive, and realistically, they aren't that difficult. I am sure I could have put the gt3rs or Chiron together at 12 or 13 years old so this set looks like a refreshing challenge. I'm with you insofar that the lack of features isn't a deterrent for me. I would much rather have a well-built, solid display piece for a 1:8 supercar. I have always found a sort of funny parallel between the 1:8 supercar series models and real life... whether you buy a Lamborghini Sian in real life or in Lego form, chances are you aren't going to play with it much - you will just put it on the shelf and admire it's beauty. Cheers from Canada!
What a refreshing and well thought through comment, thank you Nolan! And yes you will definitely find this build, particularly with CaDa's more 'dense' instruction style to be more of a challenging (/involved) build experience versus the Lego 1:8 scale Supercar models. If you do buy this set I would recommend pre-purchasing some Lego 2L+axle pins in Dark Stone Grey, in advance, to have them on hand while you build to swap-in to replace the CaDa pins for that type of pin. As for Supercars, you know what the weird thing is? Even if I had the money to afford one, I wouldn't buy one, they are so impractical! But as you say beautiful to look at and I think appreciate for their engineering excellence! Best wishes to you, cheers, Simon

@Tadeusz12 - Hi Tadeusz12. I just checked the Hypercar's instruction booklets. There are 109 qty. 2L with axles pins (Lego part #11214) and 177 qty. 1L with axle pins (Lego part #43093). If I was building this again from scratch I would replace ALL of those pins with the Lego equivalents to get the best possible end result. All of the other CaDA pin types in my case were good. + two more tips. CaDa provide 3L pins in black in box #4, you can use these at any time in your build. I recommend that when you are building any sections for the front lip/bumper of the model, rear and the top air wing/spoiler - that you use these black pins versus the regular blue coloured 3L pins. Also I had a lot of pins and some random parts left over, don't be surprised by this.

Hi Alvin - I pretty sure they only have the one RC version. But that said to me this has been designed to be a display model, so if you did decide to buy and build it you would be a-ok with the build and just having it as a display piece.
@@CraftedBricks Hi Simon, thanks for the reply. The reason I'm asking is that I know the Ferrari in the Cada's master series has an RC and non-RC version and the non-RC one is significantly cheaper. That's disappointing because I don't want to pay for the batteries and motor if it's just going to sit on my shelf as a display piece.
@@aalvinng - I fully understand and I have the non RC Ferrari too which was my preferred option versus the motorised set. The kicker with this Hypercar is that the 2x buggy motors are deeply integrated into the chassis itself and provide support and structure to the center area of the model. Let's hope that Suwan's next Supercar is released with a non-RC option!
@@CraftedBricks I would love to see you review the rest of the master series cars if you have them. (Ferrari, Lamborghini Centenario or the new Jesko released this year)
The Lambo & Ferrari are on my 'to-do' list for sure. The problem is they are time consuming builds and the video & photography work is also difficult & lengthy. I have to do some serious thinking on 'how' to continue to make interesting and helpful content for the channel for next year but in ways that is less of a time load. Re the Centenario I have that model ...sitting in a box!
Hi there! Does it have a gearbox inside? Such like McLaren 720S have. Cannot choose which one to buy as I want both electric drive and gearbox in one car)
Hi Alexander - no this model does not have a gearbox. It is direct drive via the RC motors. I hope this helps!
@@CraftedBricks definitely! Helped so much! Thank you, pal!
Love stuff like this they give is models Lego wont or will produce verg late down the line
Agreed! ...and it's the reason I'm ok to buy and feature CaDa models on my channel - they are actively supporting talented MOC designers by bringing their creations (licensed) to us at an affordable price!
Way cool! I know absolutly nothing about lego, but this looks sick. And for $100 WOW WOW... lego bugati way more expensive... unless somesones a collector of lego specifically people should look into this..
Ps can bugati drive around like the one for cada?
Hi Gb J - this Cada sets is about $240 USD not $100, but that ok and yes it's cheaper than the Lego Technic Bugatti. As to your question the Lego Technic Bugatti is not motorised so you can't drive it around - but that's actually ok as these large Technic Super Cars are best suited to be display models and not for play. All the best! Simon
@@CraftedBricks okay gotcha. I think the $100 one was something i saw on their website. Maybe not this same one. But will look into them and always nice to have options 🙂
Is this the Apollo intensa emozione
I think so yes, you can see the designers work and more on this model here: instagram.com/jmt_lego_automobil?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA==
Funniest thing is .... Lego is way more expensive than CADA and you get a better model also electronics as well :D if this sin't enough proof that you shouldn't give your money to lego i don't know what it is...
Hi Masz, this is definitely a superb and well designed model. And I plan to feature another CaDa super car on the channel soon, I'm a fan. But that said I still think Lego produced sets are the gold standard for quality, in terms of their parts and finish and fit. And their system of parts is what I prefer and stick to for building MOCs and custom models. Thanks for commenting and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. : )
@@CraftedBricks gold standard for more than gold prices here in eastern urope they almost tripled the price of the same line one generation to the next what was basically 50 ish dollar set that now costs aronud 85 I'm not giving them any money if they are this scummy...
