They're redoing Smuggler's Run to add Mandalorian and Grogu. It opens on May 22 the day the movie comes out

This is the 3 rd season, but you have to somewhere other than your house to watch it.

@TheCrawfordViewI didn’t mind season 3 to be honest. I definitely wish it was more about Mando than Bo and that they atleast did a recap on why grogu was back with Mando
I’ve always wondered if they held a few things back because the next part of the story was already planned. Jon Favreau actually started writing season four in May 2022 and the scripts were finished by February 2023 - before season three even aired.
So things like Grogu’s training with Luke, or the details of how he ended up back with Din, might have been kept a bit lighter because they knew the story was continuing anyway.
Season four was originally meant to start filming in late 2023, but the strikes delayed everything and Lucasfilm ended up shifting direction to The Mandalorian & Grogu movie.
Favreau has said he still has the season four scripts, so it wouldn’t surprise me if some of those ideas end up being folded into the movie.
Either way, they really have to nail the film. If it doesn’t land, I wouldn’t be surprised if Disney moves on from this storyline and focuses on something new.
Can't wait to watch this on Disney plus.................
You might be waiting awhile. We know the initial release is going to be in theaters only and depending on how well it does at the Box Office, will determine how soon it gets moved to Disney Plus. But if you wait until then you won't be able to discuss it around the water cooler with your co-workers 😁

This does actually look like a proper Star Wars movie, not like that tripe Andor season 2 they gave us last year
Andor never pretended to be a Star Wars series. I saw A New Hope in the cinema 49 years ago (yeah, I’m old), and nothing since has ever given me the same feeling because nothing since has been as groundbreaking as it was.
The Christmas Special taught me early that with Star Wars you have to accept there will be some good and some bad along the way.
I enjoyed Andor because it didn’t try to be traditional Star Wars. Instead, it explored the period leading up to Rogue One and brought that era into canon, while still leaving room for other stories to be told in the same timeframe.
Once you start throwing in Darth Vader, Jedi, etc. into a specific period, it actually makes telling other stories harder. You end up with problems like Ahsoka seemingly being absent during Episodes IV, V, and VI.
No more high quality television! 😡 Give me more slop!
