Hi bro i need some help of you I can not boot my Phoenix OS it is showing Windows Failed to Start A Recent Hardware or Software Change Might Be The Cause. Plz fix it for me
I had this issue arise in a fairly complicated way due to restoring an incremental backup from the AOMEI backupper software. After much pain and many time consuming troubleshooting steps, this fairly simple procedure is what ultimately fixed it. Thank you so much, this got me back producing again and oh so happy 🤘
You didn't break it 💀 all you had to do was just use another installation media if this didn't work or you messed it up on accident by messing up windows files and reinstall windows, software can't break hardware unless you do it on purpose
I. Love. You. I was convinced that the problem was in the software, so I didn’t do anything externally. When you said to remove and put back the Hard Drive, I realized that my SSD had a cable unplugged. I plugged it in, and my freak-out sessions from the past two days are FINALLY over. Moral of the story: always do the obvious.
Great work man. Your channel targets topics that not many people face. These topics are very helpful to people who face such problems and errors(not talking about this particular video but in general). I appreciate your work and keep making videos that solve different errors.
For anyone whose issue might be related to the first step and using a pc not a laptop. Check that your boot drive is connect to the physical first port in your mother board. My issue was that I had my boot drive plugged into the 4th slot on my motherboard but changing the boot order to make it first in my bios which won’t work. So after watching this video I realised I needed to unplug it and change it to the first slot in accordance to the motherboard manual. It booted first time.
Bro, thank you so much. This happened to me and I got fixed with bootrec command. I was about to lose a windows instalation with 2TB of games, but you saved me. It was going to take a month or even more to redownload these with a 15mb internet. Subscribed!
But when i do the "bootrec /fixboot" It will show "Element Not found", the same thing also happen when i try to type "All" to add installation to boot list.
Hey great and super helpful video. However, "fixboot" came back with access denied and "scanos" came back with 0 windows installation! Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks
It just runs into a device stop code everytime I do the windows 10 installation I cleaned the whole pc made sure everything is plugged bought a new hard drive and it still giving me this issue
I'm having this issue right now. I find it really suspicious that it just seemed to happen right after I stopped my subscription to Microsoft 365 ( to use Word to write my various college assignments ) this happened! So I'm SO glad I found this video! I'm going to give it a try- crossing my fingers!
Awesome vid! Thank you very much... I have been having issues with my kids' SSD and this vid was the solution I've been searching for (for months now). Thank you very much! More power!!
mine says "total identified windows installations: 0" which I dont understand why because I've been using windows 10 all this time until the error showed up, any help on this?
At 2:30 "quickly press the request/require key to enter the bios." What does that mean? What key to press exactly? I really don't like it cause I don't understand what was said...but I really need a fix quickly and badly.

No. Not a single one of the solutions worked for me. The bootrec commands dont find my windows installation. Idk why. I have it installed. And my drive is seenable in the BIOS
Bro my pc was working fine suddenly got this error i typed all your bootrec commands all worked but when i typed scanos one it told that total identified Windows installation is 0 what should i do should i have to reinstall windows again coz i dont want to i have some important documents in C drive Fast reply would be really Appreciated please help me out
For others with my issue.. If you are using a macbook, emulator to use Windows 1. Restart 2. Get the pop up that is showing in this video 3. click escape three times. It will reboot your computer in your original operating system. You may re-download another software and use boot camp. You will lose your data from your bootcamp transfer.

In my case when I type bootrec /scanos it shows that total identified windows installations 0
It's just not reading your hard drive. Master boot record will still be repaired.
