I had 1990 Allante with the 4.9 litre. I loved that car, it got noticed every where. I don't think I ever got gas and didn't have someone walk up and ask about it.
It is a very rare and unique car that’s for sure! I’ve done a decent amount of work to it so far. 30+ years takes a toll on a car.
@WasleySchultz I've had many Cadillacs, they just seem to age well. The Allante may not have spared well with a Mercedes SL in 1990 but I bet a 30 year old SL has been overhauled several times by now. I have a 78 Eldorado that is mostly original we drive it on weekends it's my favorite time behind the wheel.

@wasleyschultz I always thought these were pretty cool 😎 They definitely have a charm about them. How’s that Northstar treating you? Has someone studded the heads already?
So far so good! 🤞🏻! Nothing major yet other than the electrical issues I’ve been having here and there. I need to get the top fixed first since it soaks inside and when driving the draft is really cold. That’s coming up next for this car!
Have 1993 Pace Car edition with water leak in heater hose BUT no mechanic in my area will agree to work on NorthStar
...
I don’t want to even work on it myself 😂 but I also own Japanese compact cars so I know how to work on tight engine bays.
I still would have preferred a 300ZX Twin Turbo over it or a Supra twin turbo..
I mean I would too but this was free 😂
