I love the amount of support that these guys give each other at such a high level in mountain biking! It's all ABOOT who is fastest these days, not about the fun factor. The rocky mountain team really turns that around! Nice work guys and gals!
What an awesome race format. I’d love to see more of this. The coaching and pep talk were awesome. And Jesse pumping the corners is just a masterclass.
So sick Jesse, thanks for sharing! I love getting to see the whole course of an enduro track rather than just a few highlights of some gnarly sections. Really goes to so how intense these races are. You don't get to see the uphill, the flat out pedaling, the pain on multiple stages and huge HABs that really goes into these races which in my opinion makes this category of racing so insane!
Unreal! You guys were pushing so hard, cardio wise and killing it with keeping it all under control in those tight trails. Not much margin for error when you're going that fast. Those looked like fun trails too.
This tops all my favorite EWS Content. Mad skills from Team Canada! Now I feel riding my bike! Jesse ma men please don't stop posting EWS runs bro. I'm learning alot from your content! Keep it up!
You guys are so athletic just watching how you guys maintain the pace and sprinting all the way. Any tips for us weekend warriors? Wish I could spring like that!
@@MyBatanghamog To sprint like that? Well I have been training for the last 10 years or so, so there is one quick fix for that. But I would say you could try to do a few longer intervals where you try and find your lactate threshold that you can hold for 5-10 minutes steady. That will help you pace yourself in race stages.
in this video, ladies and gentlemen, the story of world enduro sculpted on the Italian rocks of Liguria. Thank you @Jesse for setting new standards of quality and speed in this wonderful sport
Jesse you are a machine! This track looks sometimes like an XC, not Enduro, with those uphills. But to be serious, get me a job and I'm moving to Canada!
@@JesseMelamedMTB I totally get it, we do course walks on Crits but that's maybe 6 corners...You memorize 6 thousand! Despite the GoPro footage it's an impressive skill to memorize and catalogue all that.

@@JesseMelamedMTB Yeah dude I can tell. Being able to do HIIT level output while keeping focused enough to shred is mind blowing. You guys are my hero's! Looking forward to more group racing. That stuff is intense.
Jesse Melamed so when you’re in the zone you’re not even thinking...but what if you’re having a crap ride...do you try to clear your mind or do you to focus on braking points, apex , lines and stuff?
Such a sick racing format! Would love to see this adopted by some of the local amateur leagues. Jesse, it would be super cool if Remi had real time HR and power overlay (assuming you guys are running PMs) on the vid just to give us mortals an added perspective of the kind of efforts you boys are laying down. Thanks for taking the time to edit. Cheers!
Oh yea, could try to do that going forward! I can tell you that we were maxed haha. Those pedal efforts, while impressive in the race, wouldn't be as great as our intervals that we do in training. If I had to guess, I would have been doing 300-350w for that first 30 seconds or so of the stage.
That first pedalling part, Jesus! And Remi's breathing hahaha, turned the sound off! That upper part looked great and flowy, but hell that middle part was techy!! And all these hillturns would piss meoff, still really wanna ride there!!!! Great job you did there

@Jesse Melamed and @Remi Gauvin I like this video quite a bit. The reason is that it is quite unique compared to other POVs that are available. 1: These are pro racers following one another and 2: They are going all out to get a result. You don't get that combination in any other video, because normally it is single pro racer POV, or they are with their friends being stylish, so you don't get the ferocity of what they are doing.
