I just started Chicago Fire (on season 3 now) and Shay was one of my favourite characters from the first ep onwards. Cried so much in this ep, and the eps after when she was remembered, mentioned, and especially every time Kelly gets emotional thinking about her. I adore their friendship and wish we got more of it!

You ever been a firefighter and watched these shows? All of them have air tanks on, but none of them have their masks on… 🤔 Also their helmets are not strapped. You would never enter a burning building without your mask on, and you would never take it off. Smoke inhalation can kill you. I get there is a bit of things thrown to the wayside for the sake of the show, but it’s still hard to watch after you know better.
Same here, I’m a student paramedic, been on the road for a year and a half and anything medical that they do wrong (which is most things tbf plus gabby sometimes showing off and being a bit of a pick me girl on call outs) goes through me😂 love the show but sometimes I’ve got to close my eyes - honestly if this was irl the amount of law suits and people losing their jobs would be insane lmao
You're probably confusing Shay with Dawnson who appears in season 7 and 8. Lauren German who portrays Shay hasn't portrayed her character since the character's death in the first episode of season 3.
