- Ronnie Earl sits in with Javina Magness and her band at Regatta Bar - Ike & Tina Turner's "I Smell Trouble". Sorry the audio's not better but with that voice and that guitar (esp. when you get to 2:45), you may not notice...
Ronnie is a legend on blues/jazz guitar, the vocal and guitar really fits nice here!!
Beautiful - more more more :))
Ronnie Earl is legend!.
Wow. Ronnie Earl is just plain awesome.
He was in the audience and used her guitarist's stuff. Zunis is amazing in his own right and is hugging Earl at the end of the clip.
Zach Zunis - Guitar
Jim Alfredson - Keyboards
Dave Davenport - Bass
Matt Tecu - Drums
Double wow !
Great up, man! Thanks
Great!
Wow !!!
Yeah, I know I'm a nitpicker, but "I Smell Trouble" was recorded by Bobby Bland long before Ike & Tina did it. It was written (allegedly) by Don Robey, under the pseudonym "Deadric Malone". (Robey would often use that name when taking undue credit for a song he didn't write; Eobey owned Duke Records, which was the label Bland recorded for in the '50s and '60s.) As usual, another stellar Ronnie Earl performance.
💜💜💥💥💜💜👍👍
Wow!!. Cor Blimey The last thing I've been looking at is the amp!! If I was Ronnie I'd be bending that G-string a lot. Luck sod. Great Vid. Ta!
aja.. se prendio en guaguanco....
Janiva, great voice, great body, Ronnie is a lucky guy getting so close : )!
Zack Zunis yes i've hear him before very very good player.Just curious because i see that Gemini 1 onstage and Ronnie sounds as good as ever. The Gemini 1 really does sound like a smaller Super Reverb on this clip.
I can't remember the organ players name but he is becoming a legend in his own right! Somebody help me with his name. He has his own band too! Killer organ player! Tasteful enough not to overcrowd this slow blues too!
Jim Alfredson.
ΚΟΜΜΑΤΑΡΑ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Curious was Ronnie playing through the Ampeg Gemini amp off to right or did he bring his super Reverb amp?
let em' have it. getting the facts straight -for some reason-is very important to music(ians).
it's about creative-truth or something like that. Anyway -thanks.
I think the Ampeg. I was'nt hearing the bottom end that the super Reverb puts out. However-this might be as a result of the poor recording quality of this set.
