@@Zanrith when you check the oil do you start the engine before l!?

Start the engine and make sure everything is tight and not leaking. Then stand the bike straight up and check the level.
Per the repair manual: "Start the engine and check that it is oil-tight. Check the engine oil level (p. 166)"
