For a little more texture and volume, I personally like to use my hands instead of a brush. I just find it adds more to it. I fully appreciate that the demos are for camera and you probably tried this method off camera. I’m much the same!
And absolutely - I will dial down the fragrance and see how that goes.

I’m so proud of what you have created here my friend! I also very much appreciate that you never asked me to sugar coat anything or be anything less than honest- we both know those traps are easy to find ourselves in where folks want us to be less than open for the sake of the friendship and I very much respect that you never operated in that way. I think with the texture bit my hair is just too heavy haha this spray might want to offer more texture but it’s being almost smothered by the pure weight of my mop top right now haha makes me wanna cut my hair honestly- we will see where that goes haha!

This is one of my favorite prestylers right now. In my fine straight hair I get more texture than you did, though nothing extreme, but combined with the thickening effect it’s nice.
It’s like Aveda thickening spray but with added texture! I may look at combining it with either your Matte paste or wax cream, once I use the stylers I have

I remember this product acts as a sea salt too if I'm not mistaken and I would like to know the result of pairing it with hanz de fuko quick sand, it might give extra texture in theory.

I didn’t try it with quicksand- I haven’t used that in quite a few years as I found there were a lot of better options out there that weren’t greasy and didn’t cost as much. It could work though! I say give it a go if you want to!

Dear Mike in my humble opinion you cannot judge with credibility a product with this ''long''haircut.the product cannot show its advantages(e.x volume,texture)because your hair is thick,heavy and long, so the only thing we see in the demo is just using the product without any serious difference between before/after.please have again these nice haircuts you used to have, so we can enjoy your-as always-detailed review.

Hey there! I very much respect and appreciate your opinion but this product was designed for all hairtypes and lengths- so it’s very much appropriate to use it and test it on the length I have. I am actually quite happy you said I have thick/heavy hair because so many people say I’m going bald in the comment section 😂 that made my day! Haha 👍
But there is very much a difference there- you can see my hair is controlled and structured and not falling down as it would with nothing in it. This had enough strength to keep it pushed back and directed- versus doing what it wants to do which is fall down onto the sides of my head. You might have a point with the weight not showing as much texture- that is why I mentioned shorter or finer hair might have more luck with that and I thought that was fair. I get so many folks saying I need to change up my style though! I’ll probably eventually cut it, but today I’m having a good time with the length so I’m gonna run with it until it’s not fun anymore! Thanks so much for watching!
