I love your house and you have some beautiful antiques and art. I suggest hiring and Interior Designer to come in and make some very nessicary adjustments to your spaces and items. It would transform what you have already done into a very polished & cohesive esthetic. You are very blessed to have such and nice home and fine furnishings. Thank younfor sharing.
@@gregandangel It's totally awesome. How could you bear to sell it after putting so much work into it? (rhetorical question - obviously you had reasons)
Thanks! The dining room fireplace dates to 1810. I saw someone throwing it on a trash pile after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. I quickly put it on my truck and took it home. The back family room fireplace is slate. I bought it at auction in 2004 for $100.00. It stayed wrapped in plastic, about 10 pieces, till we renovated this back room. I got it out of storage and was surprised at how nice it was!
@ wow! That’s crazy someone throwing it away! I’m glad you saved it 🙂. The slate fireplace is so awesome. You got a great deal . The entire house is gorgeous!
Stunning ❤
Absolutely gorgeous, elegant, with a touch of colonial charm. ❤️🙏🇬🇧🙂

Gorgeous home!
Totally awesome. Where are you? I love how your house seamlessly blends old fashioned elegance with modern convenience and style. A+++
Thanks, we are in New Orleans. Spent 12 years restoring the house which was a fourplex when we bought it.
