It's worth noting that it's not just bomb arrows but it has to be with a Tier III Ranged weapon as well (Black Ox Crossbow or Bard Bow). I tried it with the others and it will not blow up the gum in the tool box.
I hav collected 4 rare trinkets already using sticky fingers + 2 mutations. Each boss fight i save before i start hit until i see 2 items stolen. If its not trinket reload. Mantis trinket i got after 5 tries. Broodmother took longer about 15 times. For farming sparkling shells i used bare hands and NO lil fists boost in the pipe where they cant run away. That way i was able to get 8-9 sparkling shells most times using that :)
I found if you just let them run away you can reset them to steal more shells! so as long as you have enough space you can farm them as much as possible Edit: I tried it again today I left eith 36 shells, I could of gotten more but I don't even have enough supreme Shards for the shells

This trick works with the scarabs that are trapped in the white pipe in the Undershed, punch them to death with these tricks enabled to get extra twinkling shells
It's a ton of fun. I love everything about it (building, QoL improvements, new area, new boss, amazing new mutations linked with great mechanics, new armor and weapons), except, Wasp raids STILL need scaled back. Other than that one nuance, it's a great piece of content - and it's FREE! 😁

I'm on xbox and only started a couple weeks ago and within the first I had the gold cards for mites, bombardiers, ladybugs, red ant soldiers and workers, ruz.ty, taz.ty, and the arc.r. I'm guessing getting any golds that fast used to be impossible, lol.
@@trevorsamuels8392 the problem with gold cards it's purely rng, for example me and my partner got the gold for fire soldier ant after killing I think between 5 - 10, but we had to kill over 500 grubs.. I really hope it's a higher percentage because I've still got some cards to collect 😅

I'm not a big fan of streaming. Tried it for a time. It's extremely taxing on me mentally and physically with all my health problems. I've considered doing infrequent shorter streams. Like a stream where I just play with the different builds I showed off in my videos, for example. I stay pretty busy as it is though.
? This IS the update, mate. It's only gonna be small tweaks and rebalances when it goes official. I'm holding off on builds until it goes official because of the rebalances I just mentioned. But, most of this stuff is cemented in place.

Wouldn't recommend it. 1) Fist build was heavily nerfed att. 2) Fist build is highly mutation dependant - leaving you with very few viable slots to swap in the stealing mutations. It technically can work. Just wouldn't feel good at all.

Probably some stealth patches, but we won't know what for a bit. 1.2.0 Public Test - 4098 to 4099 Changes -Fixed Ziplines sometimes not being interactable. -New music in the Brawny Boy Storage Bin. -Gravity adjustments of the charged Spicy Staff projectile. -Advanced Building subcategories are properly labeled. -Wide interaction setting properly restores on load. -Improved UI narration with the Super Duper interface. -Base buildings can be seen from farther away or during cutscenes for higher graphics settings. -Hot Tub light customization can be seen during the day (even though the lights only turn on at night).
Honestly this game is becoming a little annoying. This new steal system seems tedious and really boring. Having to build a base right next to bosses to get boosts and all that seems just too much. Even though I’m someone with many bases spread out throughout the map. The thought of making more doesn’t sound fun. My game already crashes a lot from having too much built. I don’t want to beat the same boss even 20 times. That type of stuff isn’t fun for me.
The stealing mechanic has made farming significantly easier, not more tedious. But, If you don't like to grind, then don't grind. Noone's forcing you. Play your way.
Wha-what? What kind of ass backwards thinking is that? They didn't make the bosses any harder or make any of the drops lower in chance so...all this does is help. Nobody did any of this before because it didn't exist. You don't HAVE to do any of this. Also, building a base next to bosses doesn't really work as the buffs you get don't leave the base.
No base next to boss. Just use zip lines, they take maybe 10 minutes to set up and you can travel from one end of the yard to the other with ease in a short amount of time. Also multiple bases sound annoying as fuck. 1 base center map with zip lines going to important locations. Also you dont have to play the way he does. He’s trying to show the most optimized way to grind it out. If you dont like grinding bosses then make a checklist of stuff to do and fight the boss every other or every couple tasks

If you don't kill them you can reset the ability to steal from them again by letting them run to one end of the pipe, then run back and start punching
@@ferrariwhaanga3936 interesting, is it just an amount of time that needs to pass to rest the steal? Or do you need to move a certain distance from it

I think you have to have a custom save which turns off achievements (on xbox at the very least)
To piggyback on @theninetailedfoxvern9675, you need to have a custom or creative save. You can go into settings and toggle "faction reactivity" off.

Have to be in singleplayer (which you can do even if it's a multiplayer world). Pause, then load last hard save.
