Fell in love with this dish thanks to this guy when I lived in Australia. Loving it still even now, back at home in the Czech Republic, spreading its goodness among family and friends. Thanks, Bill. May your soul rest in peace. Your legacy lives on.
I know nothing about avocado toast but Bill's cooking show was where I discovered my favourite way to make scrambled eggs, indeed my favourite form of eggs period. It is also where I was first exposed to laidback, breezy Aussie vibes, as a boy living in a highly efficient asian city. Will always remember Bill.
I thought of Bill Granger this morning because I was thinking what to do with one slice of sour bread and an almost ready to bin avocado….and voila! Thank you Bill RIP.
You can tell Bill's been living in London for several years - his gorgeous ash-blonde hair's gone a dull shade of 'mouse'. And why on earth would you want to move from glorious, beautiful, sunny, friendly Sydney to this dump?
Avocado on toast was something I had back in about 1970, at a Bob’s Big Boy in San Diego, served by my sister. If we’d put a French name on it we’d be bazillionaires. GMAB!
Thank you for creating this delicious and wholesome dish! We love simple, healthy food prepared from home and are always looking for home food-creators to join our platform, let us know if you're interested!
It’s to make you believe the white Anglo Saxon race is the most superior like Britain inventing football, it’s all hot air my friend treat this rubbish as it is
Why does this have to be about millennials?? Who cares! I am a baby boomer and have been eating it for ages. Why put so much emphasis on millennias? There are other generations, older and younger, that doesn't expect specific recognition. Give it a break!
Was the man up to date with them green avocado boosters to make it back to London from the 'Roo Prison Continent?/? ...Guess he must have been...sad, but there's a lot of it about as of late...
For the banana bread, substitute the butter with olive oil, substitute the sugar with monk fruit and the chocolate with walnut pieces and you'll have a healthier version of banana bread✨😉 RIP Bill😢
It takes approximately 22,000 of these tasty avocado toasts to put a down payment on a home in San Francisco. RIP Millennials’ chances of affording a home. 🏠🪦🥑🍞 It costs $10.00 for one of these… with an egg on top.
