So much talent and potential with these guys. The cleans feel out of place in lots of the songs tho for me i don't tend to enjoy cleans too much. It is frustrating for me to go from such a badass powerful sound to such a soft fragile emotional sound, it kind of takes me out of the songs trance. I always have livealie on my loop tho, i endure the cleans just because the heavy vocals with the instrumentals is just too damn good. Also even tho i dont care for lyrics because i listen for the instrumentals mainly, id like to see some meaning behind the songs rather than the typical generic "religion is bad, they think they will go to heaven its all they care about! blah blah" . the vocals when its heavy is superb, guitar riffs are maybe the best ever for me due to the constant use of dissonance. I would love to see some songs that have little to no cleans. Even a couple. Will keep listening regardless tho.
@drnkds yeah I do. I'm not complaining. All I tried to do was offer my genuine opinion in the comment section for a band I've been following closely for a while. Was just throwing out some suggestions of what I'd like to see change. I'm a nobody to the band and they don't have to please me or care what I think, I was just expressing what I thought.
It’s ok Jordy this is how oli sykes must’ve felt when bring me got lighter and incorporated more singing & the really heavy tuff guys had a problem with whiny emo teens enjoying music + allowing space for there to be more versatile melodies!!! xx

Livealie is a top band I listen to despite my preferences, the good parts just too massive to pass up, I try my best to get with the cleans, it's not that I hated your cleans, it's just i dont cleans in general for the most part. Nothing personal. Obviously many ppl seem to love cleans in metal. I hope u understand. Apologies if u thought I was taking personal digs at u
