The feels i have while watching your video made me miss melbourne so much, i love walking the cbd streets and chilling at Fed Square and Yarra River banks. I miss riding the tram for free via all the free tram zone and hearing the ding-ding-ding oh how i wish i am there right now. I have stayed there for a whole 3 months, June-August 2019 and fell in love with the place! I will be back after the pandemic is over hopefully 2022 💖💕 Thank you so much for this, i appreciate your effort filming 😊

Thanks HA! In this video I had a few problems with interference with the Bluetooth link (as you’ll notice in parts of the video). I’ve been trying to iron this out using the guidance on your website but still having issues on occasion. Then again I know I am asking a lot of the equipment doing 1 hour + continual recordings. I’d like to try it wired for these types of recording, but to my iPhone, I understand this isn’t possible at the moment if you want to record dual channel? Cheers, and keep up the good work!

Hi! Sadly our borders have been closed for international travel and recently extended until December, but they are saying they don’t expect them to open until mid next year at the earliest. It’s a real shame, we can’t even travel between states without doing hotel quarantine it’s very limiting at the moment : (

Oh that’s great, I’m glad you’ll be able to get back in, as far as I know the hotel requirement will be in place for as long as the border closures are in place. I think they were paying for the hotel quarantine initially but everywhere is making people pay themselves now I’m sorry to say. Hey Todd, this one was filmed with an Osmo Pocket, it’s pretty inconspicuous but I occasionally use a mount or larger cameras and when spotted get some strange looks 😬

D’wayne, I use to live in Brisbane before Melbourne, and I’ve got to say, most people who say they prefer Melbourne have never lived in Brisbane 😉
Been lucky enough to have lived in different cities around the world, as well as Brissie and Melbourne (where I currently live). Both are great but very different: Brissie is more lush, green and relaxed. The overall vibe is definitely friendlier and more laid back. It also feels cleaner and more outdoorsy - and the beaches in SE QLD are second to none.
Melbourne feels like a bigger city, it has more of a social and cultural fabric, it has history, and is more alive and entertaining. It feels a bit less “perfect” - dirtier even - yet more human. I personally prefer Melbourne because it’s got markedly different suburbs and a little bit of everything.

It’s the video unfortunately, the microphones use a wireless link to iPhone (to avoid needing to carry cables and a field recorder) the problem is it doesn’t really work because of interference. So I’m now looking into buying the extra gear hopefully once it’s wired it’ll stop.. 😣 there is a 30 second section that was muted by RUclips because one of the shops had music playing and it trigged a copyright claim. Thanks for watching 👌🏻
