Lata ji is great. Having said that , Shreya has passed all possible milestones of Bollywood singing , and the examples are endless. This song ..Kya Janoo Sajan was re-recorded / picturized again for film Dil Vil Pyar Vyar,.. Kavita ji in a commendable voice- But Shreya somehow has taken 10 out of 10 on this stage performance in my opinion.
She is now the only singer who can sing such composition like a queen..
just see the transition in her voice.. OMG!!!!!♥️♥️♥️

Wonderful performance. Hemantkumarji there are so many wonderful songs of 1940 to 1960. Sir! We can't ignore great singers Suraiya, Saigal, Pankaj Malik, CH Atma, and some more. Kindly request Shreya Ghoshal to sing their songs in her style. If she doesn't agree then in that case request some other young talented singer to do that. When a very talented young singer sings very very old song, it is very pleasant to listen. Looking forward for the positive response.

I was brought up with Lata, Asha etc...music, and they are in my heart forever but we need to accept that, now and then, some other stars are born with this gifted voice like Shreya: like I said earlier, think how legendary she will be by her 80's as Lata Ji is now (...)
We need to believe in new stars and to support them so we can enjoy their divine voices for the rest of our lives.
Let's think of Vaibhav Vashishta for example, he is one of the greatest India's future most gifted and talented singer...God he is just wonderful and as a human being he is a great valuable person! (I've been lucky to meet him)
I will always love Indian music, films and culture as I did since I was 8 years old when I watched 'Noorie, and listened Lata Ji "Aaja Re" ❤❤❤
