Love the books and learning toys. Games like checkers and Connect four teach strategy. Transformers are good for hand manipulation. Classics like balls, playing cards and baby dolls will always keep a child busy. I wouldn't want to be a parent with small children these days. The prices are extraordinary. Craft sets are good and puzzles.
I can't love this more. I'm in charge of the adopt a family at my job. We raised nearly $2000 for a family of seven. I shopped for about ten hours to buy everything on their list, plus some. It was a long day, but man - it makes you feel so GOOD to do it!
