I am here with you, prayers, hugs and love. Please know we are right with you. In a few hours are taking my daughter to the airport. She will arrive at her destination at midnight. Tomorrow at noon
she is testifying against her husband, who is a pastor. Over a year ago he beat her and almost killed her. We need prayers that she will be strong as she speaks out. This will be the first time she will be seeing him face to face. She will have her son, her aunt and counselor with her but when she testifies they cannot be in the room. Thank you for just being there.❤

I'm praying for your daughter to be strong in the Lord. It's terrible when a pastor violates trust this way. They are held to a higher standard, and he's guilty not only of violating his marriage vows, but also his duty to his congregation and covenant with the Lord. I pray he is not still in the pulpit, because he's not qualified!

I had a kidney infection once in my life and was hospitalized for two weeks! I know how you feel; It's no fun at all. Please remember that you are being prayed for by so many who love you. I'm wondering if Jody's "oblivion" is really just a coping mechanism. Chronic illness is also hard on the loved ones who feel helpless. Please don't push yourself, Kayla. Give your body all the time it needs to heal. We'll always be here for you.❤🙏🏽

I’m kind of watching the 1936 After the thin man movie, but I’ve seen it before, a good movie. Working on my boggy creek blanket. Thinking of making a trip to the dollar store - maybe. 🤔 Just to keep moving, but then again maybe not, it’s 88 degrees outside and humid in Michigan. 😫Yesterday I bought a 40 ounce insulated tumbler at JoAnn’s, love my ice water. Stay hydrated as much as the constant vomiting lets you. ❤🙏🙏

Oh my I feel for you I have suffered with kidney infections for over 50 years since I had a kidney stone and surgery for it. My last infection crossed into blood stream and I was on IV antibiotics for 8 days. Don’t ever let an infection go.
So sorry you are feeling so bad. You were very convincing in acting better. Please take care of yourself. Kidney infections are nothing to play around with! You and yours are always in my prayers everyday. May you feel the Lord’s healing presence. Luv old lady s. Thanks for update.

Sharon here... so sorry you are having issues with your kidneys. I remember years ago when I had one and medication, I was told to drink cranberry juice as it helps with infection. I now eat cranberries and drink a small cup of the juice and all has been good. There also are cranberry chewables in the vitamin section. I pray you start to feel better soon. Hugs ❤

I’ve spent 2 1/2 to 3 years being sick and finally was able to go back to church this morning for the third time in a row🎉. I am so grateful for that. I am working on beautiful, bright colored granny squares for Bogy Creek quilts. I also always keep Knit beanie hats going for donations to the homeless shelter when the weather starts cooling. I also love to read historical books about any country and any time period, the earlier the better. I am keeping you in my prayers and thinking about you throughout the day. ❤❤

Hi kayla, hope that you feel better soon!. I am in your situation at the moment!. Kidney stones & infection. It isn't nice. Keep drinking water! To flush it out, like me. That's all we can do. Oh I am sorry to hear you are not doing better. I have found that our autoimmune makes prescriptions trickier as we also tend to react to medication differently than those without autoimmune issues. I do hope your doctor can find the best combination of meds to get this under control and on the path of healing. Kidney infections are really bad, and I feel for you. I have learned the hard way that I must be mindful of my kidneys always, as I don't sweat unless it is high humidity and high heat, I really need to move back to my ancestral home of the South, my kidneys are the main source of my body detoxing. So I treat them now like a rare precious gem.
I'm praying for you, Kayla. My husband has a number of medical tests this week, and I'm worried about him. Life does throw us challenges, although I do think you've been thrown way too many. 🙏💕

Oh no.... soooo sorry to hear that your kidney infection is kicking you around & back to the ER, Kayla! I hope & pray that you're able to keep the meds down & that they kick out that infection ASAP! Being ill sure is a full-time job!! I'm thankful that my illnesses allowed me to be able to go for a drive to the beach today to look at the sea view from our car with my wonderful hubby to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary! That sure sounds old! We laughed & cried with each other as we reminisced 40 years of highs, lows & blessings together as husband & wife. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

I have chronic pain and push thru a lot of pain but totally get when you say others don't understand when you just can't push thru more.
When you have chronic pain and then you add more pain above your baseline it is just unbearable.
I pray you are feeling better soon. At least to your baseline, as I know the pain never really goes away. 💜

Spending all night in the ER is just the worst. I hope they find the right antibiotics, kidney infections are nasty.
I just finished an amigurumi octopus for my little ones Friday, and I learned the waffle stitch on Friday once I finishedmy wip, so yesterday I finished up a waffle stitch infinity scarf with just yarn from dollar tree. Last night I started a mat for our bathroom with peaches and creme cotton from Walmart using the waffle stitch. Had I known it was all double crochet I would have tried sooner!
Those Octopus are cute!!! Did you do the worry worms as the tentacles 😂.

Kayla, I am so sorry you are having such a rough time. I admire your ability to press on with a smile on your face and love in your heart. You have a resilience not seen in most people. But, your body can do a lot of healing if allowed. Please rest enough for this to take place, even tho you feel a need to keep on keeping on. I am so eager to make a lovey.
