The best part of this set was the band actually stopped playing at one point cos people were getting crushed at the front. They said "we need to all look out for each other" and were helping people across the barrier. Keith was such a gentleman at heart and it really showed in that moment. So glad I got to see it in person.
Were you at Leeds? Something similar happened there.
@@kevinkibble8342 nah I was at Reading!
I was getting crushed near the front on the right at that point, gave me a chance to retreat a bit lol. It definitely got a bit out of hand. My mate's face was covered in blood after getting smashed in the head by a stray bottle but refused to go get medical attention, we still enjoyed the hell out of the rest of the gig. One of the best sets I've ever seen live.
@@homedogoli think you lot need to calm down
I got crushed at the front, thought my ribcage was going to be flattened. Big security bloke carried me over like I was a toddler😂
Really wish he was still around right now , would of loved to have seen this live , RIP Keith Flint
Seen them in newcastle same year as this it was fucking incredible what bits I remember

@@GetOnTheFloor82 Ah do one ya gobsheen. You knew what he meant. You win pedantic idiot if the thread......
It was pretty special live.
I love his voice so much. There's something about his voice that gets me.
Its his timing much akin to his mentor Johnny Rotten.
Absolutely mental. Brilliant. When I'm 60, 70 and even 80 I'll be listening to this legend. 1990s were the best decade ever.
Facts, I see them live at Reading in the 90s, shit was an incredible experience
Not that the music they produced wasn’t incredible, but I think the 80’s were the best by far
they really were, everything went tits after 9/11
i,am
Кит флинт!!!!
The Prodigy were immense.
Forget how good they actually were!
still are
This song brings back so many memories. My grandmother used to sing it to me at night. Miss you grandma
Are you fr???😮
Thats one rockin Grandma!!
Feel sorry for old peoples homes in 30 years. Just have this stuff on loop.
This is the soundtrack of the 90’s what a time to be alive and young
I miss his energy so much
i wish so badly i could’ve seen them live. RIP KEITH.
I'm 53 yes old ,80s,90s best music, loved and followed this group from day one sad we lost this brilliant front man,rip ,gone but not forgotten
Everytime i saw them i couldnt give more props to the drummer. . Outrageous
Was privileged to be there. I'll never forget that moment xx
What a performance. Britain really does produce some talent.
I'm also loving other various UK electronica based acts like
Faithless, Burial, Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Unkle, Autectre, Massive Attack,
Orbital, Leftfield, Stereo Mcs, The Streets, Goldie, The Bug, Allflaws
Gary Numan...
@@thelamb1964 yes no doubt. Love his stuff
metronomy?
and the whole drum and bass scene as well.
Saw the live numerous times over a 20 year plus span, never disappointed, RIP Keith, keep dancing ❤
Their stage presence is absolutely insane
RIP!!!!!!! ME AND MY MUM WHERE THERE!!!!!!!!! I WAS 13 YEARS OLD
Your mom rocks!
Mother and son, legends both!!
@@animalcol1 hahaha thanks ❤️
@@lotoes1006 God bless
You're so blessed. Tell your Mum I said hi. She's awesome 🤘 and seeing how you have good taste, YOU ROCK 🤘🤘🤘
Met Keith a few times,he was well into his motor bikes and use to occasionally pop into Chelmsford motorcycles , such an unassuming and lovely bloke RIP mate ❤
Sexy and attractive and he's not even trying. Huge respects and I'm still grieving. R.I.P you beautiful man.
My daughter was recently talking with her friends on a lunch date. She's 37. The discussion turned to music they grew up listening too. Her friends laughed about their parents listening to Johnny Cash, Elvis and David Bowie..... My daughter laughed and said her childhood memories are of the house being filled with the sound of Prodigy. THEY ALL FELL SILENT (with shock) 😂😂😂 I still love listening to these nutcases but headphones are the one these days.
I'm 36 and my mom and uncle listened to prodigy. They are the sound of my childhood.
He was a legend and a true punk/rock protagonist
Old man here, 54, but to me at least this still feels fresh. Wondering what others think?
Old, I'm 60 and agree 100%
@@baggykev I am 65 and at my 60th had Prodigy most of the night

if only people saw how funny Keith was... one of the funniest in the industry.
Prodigy are like Faithless - they shouldn’t be better as a live band, but they are
Keith legend
Keith was unique, and he will always be part of my personal soundtrack, thank you for all those beautiful days listening your raspy voice invading my sanctuary, keep shining in heaven Firestarter.😎

Он был лучшим из нас
Wow
True performer. Rest in paradise G
My Dad knew Keith at the TT he was a mate with his bikes he loved his bikes did Kieth xx
One of my all time regrets not seeing him and band live! Cest la Vie!!! RIP Boss! x
Legend.
I was at Leeds this same weekend. Just pure insanity. Arctic Monkeys, who were on afterwards, didn't stand a chance of topping this.
I was there too. No where near the barriers and people were still going mental. Insane set!
🤘 *_Best of the Best..._* 🤘
He was awesome !!! R.I.P
Excellent
Be a role model, it's the only thing kids can duplicate ✌️
Saw them here , at Phoenix Festival 96 and many others top 10 live acts of all time.
If this was played in a day and age like this, there would be nothing but phones and a generation that knows nothing about this kind of music let alone the band. Looking at this video and seeing no one with their phone out and just enjoying every moment of it is just so refreshing to see
IM A FIRESTARTER GAGAHAHhHHhHHHH hey hey hey brings back memories
Sublime.
This man (Keith)was brilliant.
Rip Keith flint LEGEND!!!
The ultimate true punk rockstar.
R.I.P Keith.
The best part of this video was buried in the best part of the 90's.
Hands down the greatest live act Ive ever seen
Thats how its done 🔥
Rip brother. I know what that dark hole feels like. Wish you’d found an “out” like I did.
R.I.P. Keith. Legend.
He ended his time on this planet on his own choosing, where and when he wanted it to. I hope I’m that lucky. Legend
I’m a fire starter and so was me brother !
I will never ever forget this haHHhHHHHhHHHHhAaaahhagagagag
Rest in Peace Keith Flint

Still is! Plenty of great bands around. The Prodigy were awesome live though, saw them at Birmingham and Glastonbury
I had whiplash after the Birmingham one! 😂
Reading & Leeds 2024, want to run it back?
Класс!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I effin love this i was in hospital at this time and i got lucky enough to get put in a side room on my own and i watched this on tv and it was like 11 oclock at night and nurses had to come in and tell me to turn my tv down and caught me having a little boogie to myself to 😂😂😂 I'll always remember this set as being so fucking good 💚🤘🏻
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🙏
👌 wow 💥💥💥💥 RIP Kieth
We gonna burn it down?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👌!!!!
Some things are powerful like a lightening flash ,then gone thats nature.
Saw them live in Semple stadium 1997. Wasn't into their music. I never saw a crowd to react like they did that night.....They were amazing.
Drummer amazing tpp
🖤😍👍
👌
You can actually pinpoint the moment the crowd realised a banger was on. The early part of 0:30 is when they all go crazy, but i heard some keen-eared fans at late 0:29
