Dance music reached amazing heights in the early 90's but then it split into all those little genres and a lot of it was just watered down crap after that
The real shit. Saw Calibre and Bailey a few days ago. Calibre played a superb 3 hours, then Baliey stepped in. First tune: Your Love by Frankie Knuckles from 1987. Then he took us on a 3 hour journey through breakbeat, hardcore, jungle to DnB. WOW 😎
22:50 that's a phat tune right there. One of the four DnB records that I ever bought, with thoughts of being a DnB DJ in France. I played my little set in an empty bar one night, then finally a girl came over to me. I thought she was going to tell me she loved it. She came up and said "Don't you have any good records?" Still makes me laugh 30 years later.
Mate, this is a true blessing to the ears. Some classics and some stuff I haven’t heard but love. Something I’ve shared with Jungle connoisseurs and will be returning to again and again. Can you share a track listing or at least let me know what that beast is when you transition out of champion sound around about 25 mins
were full of vitamins not ketamine a min a min rhythm rhythm o yes were rhythm riding yes were so ruff enough o you cant stand the ruff the dnb from 1994 till 1997 is so dangerous
When dnb was hypnotic, not some guy screaming at me about the drop
Hahaha
