Yul Hubbart The Irish president can only refer legislation to the supreme court to check validity with the current constitution. He has no power over anything the parliament has passed if it's within the current constitution, which water charges are.
Except the supreme court would say it's fine and it would go into law anyway. You should be fully aware of how the office works before you dictate actions for him to take.
He really is a remarkable man. he is such an eloquent speaker. I remember when he beat Steve Davis at the snooker years ago. The hurricane as he was known then was truly the business.

Not even the best actor in the world could get that worked up while speaking and not mean it. A drop of the minimum wage may well make more money for the exchequer than taxing the rich but thats not the point. The point is that we should be teaching the guys who caused the problems in the first place a lesson, even if it costs the country more money.

Scott Warner just the way the motions are named, confusingly enough, I believe this is a motion as a RE (responding) to the original proposal to "reduce the minimum wage" not a re-proposal. that is, he is against the reduction of the minimum wage.
Ireland is blessed to have this man.
