Hey John! We tighten it quite tight then it still pulls itself into shape. With a 10' lever, no amount of torque on a 1/4" bolt can keep the struts from rotating into place luckily. ;-)
@@MikesInventions nice thanks for the clarification, I've been trying to figure out which one to make at our school, hoop house or this, it's a head scratcher.
@@inventanew Given the choice between a hoophouse and a dome, it definitely has to be dome. The kids will find it a lot more appealing and may even put down their phones to help build it ;)
Hey Chuck! It goes up the outside then over a pulley and through a hole in the reducer and between the two pipes and connects through a hole in the bottom of the inner pipe.
That is nice. I think with some minor changes, it could be done to only require 2 or even 1 person.
I wish you had shown how to winch works?
you have to keep it loose until it's completed, but wouldn't you still need ladders to tighten everything at the top? This is awesome!

not quite sure how the pulley system works? does a cable go over the pulley down into the center shaft?

Hi , may I have solidworks file?
I want to make your idea
Hey Bagher! I don't have the SW file anymore sadly. It was made on a different computer that I don't have anymore. Thanks for watching though.
Why no cloth?
It wasn't my part of the project. Sewing a bunch of custom panels wouldn't have been my cup of tea anyway. Thanks for watching!
