frontdrake is the best tier 1 minion. It's play impact is +0.57, that's 4 times the impact of next best minion. You only buy token over it if you need 6 gold on turn 3. For ex on ETC, or when you are sure you are going 3 on 3.
I mean, the only downside Drake ever had was a shitty curve. With this being fixed with spells and Scout, this strategy has barely any competition in the current meta unless your luck is consistently ass. Sellemental and Collector are still great, tho. And even more consistent.
@@sinvoll3756 You can buy the minion for a strong early game, does not mean you are playing dragons just cause your first minion is one. It allows you to level quickly to find strong endgame cards without losing too much health. If you dont get Kalecgos or Brann just look for other builds, the drake early is just an enabler to level ahead of the rest of the field
Tier 2 strategies existing is ok, as long as they a) can't be forced b) aren't unbeatable c) require decision making. I think currently lubber strat fits the description, outside of a few heros. It's very easy to misplay the build, or over commit to it. It's ok to have different leveling curves fitting different situations, as long as a single strategy doesn't drown out everything else
