the red light does seem pretty powerful, but don’t forget, it’s OUR choice as the player to enable modifiers. so if the player just decides to not use modifiers, there goes all of the red light’s power. the same can be said for curious & guiding light as WE have to use/do things for them to help us. for example, curious light will only speed us up & give additional hp only if we use one of its items. guiding light will only banish an entity if we use the crucifix. so this leads me to believe both the player & the lights have disadvantages & advantages. they can out-power the player in some ways, but their power is really limited without the player. and i have a theory that curious light is actually the strongest light, as they can give us hp & speed us up a lot. they can also straight up teleport us across different floors, they also seem to know more lore-wise. they even put levers for us in the backdoor. curious light is also the biggest symbol in the room 60 painting, no matter if you have or don’t have modifiers on. not to mention, the red light can’t modify the subfloors where curious light is present. so all of this evidence leads up to the fact that curious light may just be a lot stronger later on than we currently know.
My headcanon is that the Lights are like siblings and, on the rare occasions they encounter each other around Limbo, they end up having intense sibling arguments, annoying each other and setting up stupid pranks. For instance, Guiding Light might visit Curious now that the Rooms are open and have a cheerful conversation, before Mischievous light walks in with the loudest music she has playing on it's loudest setting just to piss them off. I imagine Mischievous isn't really evil, they just like being annoying.
this makes sense but also doesn't at some degree If the red light isn't evil, then why are they trying to kill us? They should be messing with the other lights not us.
@@quarez8181 Simple- Guiding's entire goal is to help us, so by messing with us she's messing with them. And I don't think any light is in contact with Curious, seeing as he only inhabits a non-canon space and an old deathtrap.
Would love to see a Red Light-focused floor where guiding light is disabled and the red light attempts to lead the player down the wrong path and get them killed routinely. Could be a fun seek chase gimmick.
@@TheRealFedriko No. All Modifiers are RL's work. Only one positive modifier is blue and color is associated with theme or category rather than anything else. GL has Main Floors CL has Subfloors RL has Modifiers (Modified Main Floors) Each one has their own domain where no other Light (so far) interferes
in the tower heroes collab there was a quest only existing for a week. called “hotel visitors” you play as one of the entities there is a red text on the top of the screen everytime you clear the wave that red text could be mischievous light proving it guides the entities
Something you forgot to mention, the red light blocks off the rooms with a glowing red wall on top of the gate, and that adds to the fact that it's "more powerful than curious light." Curious light also says "She said we should call that one blitz" when you die to blitz in the backdoor for the first time, also hinting to another entity or something that will be referred to with she and her, maybe the red light because if it's power over the other two lights.
@@Alexaq268 Bcuz, that barrier blocks YOU from entering it, it doesn´t mean its blocking curious light. And curious light mentioned that he is not good with names, so he probably asked on ideas of good names to name his favorite entity.
@@Alexaq268i disagree with ur theory i think curious light is the strongest because on the painting we see that curious lights icon appears bigger than red light and guiding light
@@Elliot30891 That's cause curious lights domain is the rooms and the backdoor so the painting shows curious lights power over the rooms in that painting since the painting is in his one room of the hotel
I have a absolutely GIANT theory about (most) of the lore in Doors, some of it is inspired by your videos, but for most of this, its all me. So, I think all 3 light entities are all siblings, and they were the architects of the hotel. After the hotel was complete, they hired some workers for the Hotel, which were all the entities in the game. But, the Mischievous Light may have wanted revenge because they had always been the hated child in their family, so they turned all the workers and lights into monsters, including themself. After what Mischievous Light had done, Guiding Light and Curious Light locked them away in another dimension. During that time, however, Mischievous Light found out their power, which were the modifiers, so if a player uses modifiers, they can use their full power, but without them, they can't really do much. After that, Guiding Light and Curious Light always kept in touch to inform each other about all the action in their respective floors, therefore revealing (kind of) who that "she" character was in The Backdoor (Guiding Light). Though Mischievous Light has little to no power without modifiers enabled, they may be guiding the Seek, hinted by the red light around him. Now, you may be thinking: "Hey! Wouldn't Seek would be against Mischievous Light, because they turned Seek into a monster?" Well, I think maybe Seek and Mischievous Light may have teamed up to get revenge, because they both want power. While they were seeking their revenge, they may have agreed to take down the Giggles, because they are weak, so they turn them into Screeches. But the Grumbles saw this and now they want revenge on Seek and Mischievous Light for killing their children. So one of the Grumbles took charge by herself (I'll explain the gender in a minute) and tried to fight Seek, and she almost won against Seek, so he retreated. That won that Grumble the royal status, therefore being the Queen Grumble. Because she fought Seek, however, now she has a massive scar on her head. Finally, at the ending scene, Mischievous Light orders Seek to kill off the Queen Grumble, so he does. Now, backtracking a little bit, you may be asking: "Why does Seek want revenge?" Maybe Seek was actually the janitor at the hotel, and has been bullied his whole life, by the other workers, his family, his friends, etc. So, now he wants to be the bully. (If that makes sense) Thanks for listening, to whoever reads this. I just had to tell this to other people lol. 🤣🤣💀💀☠☠
the entire theory is a pretty big stretch, but could make sense. but there’s one thing, both curious light & guiding light are unsure that the player needs to breathe, so they were never humans. it’s also likely both of them were told. as curious light just says “i’m told”, but guiding light says “i thought, good to confirm”. so it’s likely the red light who told curious light & possibly guiding light about that. but then, if that’s the case, there’s one other question. how did the red light know we need to breathe, if even guiding light, the all-knowing of doors didn’t know?
it would be cool for like a future floor where red light completely blocks guiding lights signals and you have to do something to enable them again, and while doing that you learn more lore about the light entities and hotel in general
I dont think it'll be as black and white as guiding good mofifier bad, I think they all have motivations regarding to us and we'll just have to see what they are in the future.
1:35 I actually think that Mischevious light isn't directlely against the player. In doors 200 there Is a red light where seek atacks. I think Mischevious light Is doing what Will serve it's needs
@@GLHero so maybe the red light is taking control of seek? Perhaps it's using seek to have a physical form because the lights don't have a physical form, hence that's why seek emits the most red light out of all entities
@@quarez8181 figure emits yellow light but that doesn't mean it's curious light control just like that I think that red light is there as it warns the player of the danger or it could be helping seek get to the player, like guiding light seek follows the red light to get to us but I'm really sure tht seek doesn't need red light to transform tho bc the devs confirmed it
mischevious light/red light is in the game, if you try to go to the rooms with any modifier, there is a red transparent wall blocking the gate off, even if you flip the switch, it doesn't disappear.
this is a part of the evidence that it’s real, but you need to go out of your way to find this. and not everyone will understand that it isn’t some random barrier, so this can’t really be counted as proper introduction.
idk fact : curious light is in the middle of the painting while guiding light and mischievous light are in the corners and theyre fighting each other since mischievous light is trying to get us down to hell while guiding light is trying to help us to heaven 💀 were in a limbo )
My theory is that Mischievous light is basically Guiding light but more different and mysterious. Here's why: Instead of curious light being almost neutral, Mischievous light is with and against the player to balance the game out. For example: Mischievous light blocks off the door to The Rooms is because she does not want the rooms to be easier or harder. She also makes the crucifix red when a boss entity is escaping to warn the player because if it stays blue the player will get surprised because the entity just suddenly escapes WITHOUT WARNING. Mischievous lights color is red to signify danger or difficulty. For Example, Seek, When a boss entity is breaking out the crucifix. Guiding lights color is blue to signify something useful/necessary. For Example, The crawlspaces in Seeks Chase, Keys, Etc. Curious lights color is yellow to signify that it is neutral. For Example, The Entrance/Exits to/in The Rooms. As for modifiers, ALMOST EVERYTHING comes with a drawback because if we enable a hard modifier like Worst Time, Yes, it does make the game harder but gives us a greater reward than beating the game without it. And Vise Versa for easier modifiers.
modifiers don't completely nullify guiding light, the light is still in the seek chase pointing where to crouch, and also still closes the door behind you
Unpopular opinion, but i think A-90 is the strongest entity or at the very least a strong contender, it can pause and send back Rush, Ambush , A-60 and A-120, and i think gets rid of screech, but idk
Well you can also enable modifiers that help you. I disagree that the red light is against us. It's most likely neutral like Curious Light. The red light likely doesn't mean anything with the entities, also i'm pretty sure new animations show the entities able to break out of the chains. I'm sure that the light around entities is a design choice as well. I believe that the red light is neutral like curious light, but you can also have your own opinions about it.
@@TheRealFedriko If guiding light controlled helpful modifiers, there would most likely be two things telling what modifiers you have where the create lobby thing is. Then it would be split into guiding light and Red lights symbols.
I think Mischiveous Light isn't exactly a antagonist, I think they would be Curious Light but ruder + would actually be something like a "Sakura Card Captor" antagonist
To be honest Curious Light might be even stronger. It was in the middle and larger on the painting, its starlight gives insane boost, and mischievious light only can put on modifiers if you agree to it. Also, we can see red light in game, blocking the way to Rooms if you play with modifiers Curious just doesn't care to help us or be against us
i think of them as just the guy that doesnt care if you die or dont, and all he cares about is seeing you survive difficulty for entertainment, rewarding you with knobs
I have aa theory regarding the picture of guiding, curious and mischievous light(idk if confirmed name or not) But seeming that curious light has the biggest design compared to guiding and mischievous, i have two different ways this could mean. 1. It is just a way to show you that the main light helping you in the rooms is curious light 2. Curious light is actually the strongest light with most powers but doesnt know he does. Like TSC from alan becker's ava series, curious light's power could be the strongest, yet he doesnt know he has that type of power
yeah, i also believe curious light is the strongest. but i think he is aware of his powers, just prefers to not use them. because curious light can give us +100 hp and tons of speed for a whole 2 minutes, and also just teleport us across different floors. (btw, mischievous light is a fan-made name).
i believe the red light is what makes seek’s chase… seek’s chase. because everything is flashing red, and everything is suddenly chaotic. you remember the floor 1 seek chase? well, they added the room from it to be a normal room. why? because this shows that seek’s chase are just normal rooms but modified by red light in order to try to stop us. all of the other rooms from floor 1 seek chase are also normal rooms but chaotic. and this is further supported by the fact, that guiding light can only shut the door in a normal room, where red light isn’t modifying it. so it doesn’t get shut in the middle of the chase.
In the tower heroes event Doors had a while ago the red light actually appears in Tower Heroes and is labeled Mischievous Light Even if the light in tower heroes is non canon it at least gives us a name for the red light
@@jovifidelis yeah, that’s what i’m saying. and there’s much more evidence that leads up to curious light being the strongest, you can read my comment if you want (probably) all of it.
Curious light refers to some "she" telling them what to do, which could mean either of the other two. However, even if it is guiding light being referred to, as shown in the video the red light is almost definitely stronger. I would say the painting primarily displays curious light because it is positioned right outside the transition to its domain
@@pengoo1933 Or, because Curious light isn´t good with names as he mentioned within the rooms, he simply asked one of the other 2 lights on good names to call his favorite entity, Blitz.
Do you think that we'll ever get a chance to talk to the red architect in the future of DOORS and if we do what would they even say to us, when we are dead like how the other two architects talk to us after our death?
guiding light has an encouraging personality, saying things like: “you’ve done great, don’t give up!” & “you’ve got this far, keep going!” curious light has a more mysterious one, saying a lot of lore stuff. but curious light can also be encouraging at times. so the red light’s personality should be something different than these, that way it’s different from the other lights. but we’ll have to wait to find out.
@TheRealFedriko I hope they update the game, so that the red architect actually talks to us when using modifiers after we die that'll be pretty cool. Also I like your theory you said earlier ago, it's pretty interesting.
i just realized that ambush also emits red light just like seek… so does that mean the the mischievous light is associated with only the strongest entity’s?
Only issue I see with this is that the red light can’t do crap against guiding light shutting the door on him after door 50 and the seek chases. You would have to be insanely strong to stop figure and seek from shoving through a door, same with grumble at door 150.
that’s because i don’t think the red light is necessarily evil, it gives us an optional challenge and rewards us for it. and if it’s so all powerful with modifiers, it would’ve probably killed the player easily if it wanted to.
i dont think the guiding light disappears from the painting because you have 150%+ mods activated but because you have gone fishing enabled (this mod disables guiding light)
I think curious light might be the most powerful, we havent seen much of there power BUT they do shine the brightest on the painting and are always present
A quick fact: there is actually zero information or evidence that the third architect is against the player. Supporting facts Modifiers that make game difficult gives higher reward and those that makes game easier gives less rewards. And the entity is in the game now in the form of red barrier of rooms entrance when modifiers are active. Also there is no confirmation that red sigil of crucifix is the third architect. Also cool placeholder name suggestion: modifying light As it powers the modifiers
yes, there’s no evidence that the red light is strictly against the player, but the red light does appear everywhere seek appears. so this could mean the red light is helping seek, or something like this. i believe easier modifiers are made my guiding light, because maximum overdrive is blue, and the better the modifier, the bluer it seems to get. and the worse, the redder. the red light seems to be represented by the modifier icon, and we don’t really know what the icon means, but it looks a lot like a square spiral. (google what a square spiral is if you want info on it) the red light blocks the rooms so we don’t escape from it, because it knows it isn’t strong enough to modify subfloors. this is supported by the fact that modifiers in the backdoor are disabled. we don’t really have much info on the light to make up a name, but fans made “mischievous light” as the name, i don’t really like it. so in short, we need more info to make theories on this, as we have too little info for now.
@@TheRealFedrikoOne thing that I think is flawed is you can still get Hotel Hell with positive modifiers, and with 150%+ modifiers, it seems guiding light is gone. Also about the name (personally) I like manipulating light, that’d just me though.
@@Rajd_isthey can of course, but you can see how the chains go up and try to banish the entity, but then everything suddenly turns red right before that. so this leads me to believe it actually is the red light stopping them.
Red light does not interfere with the crucifix because the Crescent moon does not turn into a modifiers icon. This is just a design because Crucifix was added in Hotel+ and Modifiers were added after Hotel+
Actually you see the red light before door 60 as the red light guides seek in the hotel and the mines you can see him in the seek chases guiding seek to kill us
Curious light is probably the strongest out of the three architects (celestials) because in the painting his icon is bigger than red light and guiding light
I actually think curious light is the strongest, we know red light and guiding light can move objects in the physical world. But if u enter the backroom u come to curious light, and he places the levers in the backroom. So he can basically create things in the physical world. If he can do that on a large scale he might have a power better than the other lights
guiding light can also spawn objects, he spawns valves in door 200. but there’s other evidence to prove that curious light is the strongest, so i agree.
@@frenchtoast81 the boss monsters as in SEPERATE from the rest, so seek, dupe, ambush, figure, grumbles. (and also im using this now to mention the blood rooms created by jack might count????)
I disagree, I'm pretty sure mischievous light isn't against the player but just indifferent towards them, however she does want to reward the player for overcoming hard challenges so she created the knob system to reward them, she also prefers to keep things possible for the player so she warns them of entities the player wouldn't look back to see like seek by shinning brightly, she even warns when the crucifix is failing by making it glow red and imbueing it with her power before it breaks, she even warns about the seek minion's attacks by glowing there. She wants to make things balanced or at least possible for the player. I can go more in depth about my theories about doors stuff if someone asks me about something specific, so ask me for my explanation on anything doors related.
Can people Please stop calling the red Light “Mischievous Light” it never had a specific name AND the red light around seek could’ve just been an Design choice. Also just for a quick mention the red chains during crucifixes failure could just be the entity’s powers pushing the guiding light away. Alright that’s all that you for listening to me yap about an entity in a game.
thank you for saying this, people just take this name as official now, because so many people use it! i’m tired of it! anyway, yes, seek’s red light could’ve been a design choice, but i don’t think, because there’s some evidence that leads me to believe it isn’t. when you run, everything has red lines flashing everywhere, (only on higher graphics) and your camera has a tiny bit of reddish tint. (it’s really tiny, you won’t notice it without a side by side comparison) another thing, the chase rooms are just normal rooms, but modified & chaotic. they even added that circle-like shaped room floor 1 seek chase, to be a normal room. i believe it’s not a random choice. and another thing, guiding light can’t shut the door in the middle of the chase, only after we get to a normal room. (the end of the chase) which could be because guiding light doesn’t have enough powers to do that while the red light is present in the rooms. i doubt it’s the entity pushing guiding light away, because what special do those entities really have lore-wise? i believe the red light stops us so this way we don’t modify the game for our good, and make it too easy. because seek, figure, and grumble are big obstacles for the player, so if they’re gone, the player will just walk through everything really easily. while entities like rush, eyes, etc. are small obstacles for the player that the player will pass quickly no matter what. so that’s why i think the red light decides to not waste its powers on saving them. okay, this comment was a lot longer than i thought it would’ve, hope you enjoy reading this.
@@TheRealFedrikoI respect ur theory and also now that I think of it the tint of red on crucifix matches the red lights colour better then the entity’s power.

I wanna hear what you all think about this
yes, that’s what i’m thinking, and there’s even more evidence supporting that curious light is the strongest. you can read my comment if you want (probably) all of it.
It should be noted that the Red Light not only nullifies the powers of Guiding Light but also in a way does the same with Curious since if you enter the same corner of the Rooms you will see that its entrance is closed by a RED wall. Which implies that despite not being the biggest symbol in the painting, it is even more powerful than Curious by removing them from the way. There is also the possibility that it will equal and nullify Curious even in the Backdoors as it did with Guiding. Since I am not wrong or misinformed; LSplash confirmed that there may be modifiers in Backdoors. Or directly modifiers of the Backdoors that are transferred to the Hotel. -Sorry if there are spelling errors or something like that; the English is not my main language
the red light doesn’t get rid of curious light, it just puts a wall to prevent us from entering the rooms. because it’s not strong enough to modify the subfloors.
@@TheRealFedriko Oh, that's a great possibility too! It leads me to another theory... That maybe the Red Light only gets Curious out of the way but doesn't nullify their powers. As? Locking him up. And there may also be bits of him (Curious) left in the backdoors and this prevents Red Light from intervening. But my main theory is the same, the Red Light is the most powerful, but it's just something I believe, since we do count Super Hard Mode as a canonical modification (I mean, it really happened) Red Light also teleports you to another game lol. But it's up to LSplash if they want to place modifiers in the Backdoors to know a little more-
@@Michi_is_Love_Michi_Is_Lifethe red light doesn’t really lock up curious light, because curious light never appears in any normal floors, no matter if modifiers are enabled or not. curious light doesn’t really have the goal to help the player, but doesn’t sabotage them either, they’re sort of in the middle.
i dont think the red light is inheritely evil, maybe an antagonist but they also protect things like the grumbles, a species put into danger by seek; and probably protecting figure + seek due to them being IMPORTANT to the hotel/mines - and they also allow good modifiers to be placed. i generally think theyre "neutral" in the lore; while being stronger then GL but not stronger than CL.
i believe good modifiers are caused by guiding light, because it seems like the better, the bluer it is. (greenish, -> green, -> blue) and the worse, the redder. (pinkish, -> pink, -> red) i also believe the red light is neutral, but it seems like there’s more evidence to lead up to it being evil.
This video only shows that the red light is only the 2nd strongest and not the 1st while you made some points that it's stronger than guiding light you made none against curious light. And guiding light could possibly use the red light's powers against her goal with the maxium overdrive modifier which is blue, that might be a connection to guiding light.
true, the better the modifier, the bluer it seems to get. (greenish, -> green, -> blue) and the worse, the redder. the red light does seem pretty powerful, but don’t forget, it’s OUR choice as the player to enable modifiers. so if the player just decides to not use modifiers, there goes all of the red light’s power. the same can be said for curious & guiding light as WE have to use/do things for them to help us. for example, curious light will only speed us up & give additional hp only if we use one of its items. guiding light will only banish an entity if we use the crucifix. so this leads me to believe both the player & the lights have disadvantages & advantages. they can out-power the player in some ways, but their power is really limited without the player.

For instance, Guiding Light might visit Curious now that the Rooms are open and have a cheerful conversation, before Mischievous light walks in with the loudest music she has playing on it's loudest setting just to piss them off. I imagine Mischievous isn't really evil, they just like being annoying.
this makes sense but also doesn't at some degree
If the red light isn't evil, then why are they trying to kill us? They should be messing with the other lights not us.
@@quarez8181 Simple- Guiding's entire goal is to help us, so by messing with us she's messing with them. And I don't think any light is in contact with Curious, seeing as he only inhabits a non-canon space and an old deathtrap.
I could confirm, Mischevious Light is too strong, We need more lights.

@@zombierandom8 positive modifiers are most likely by guiding light, as maximum overdrive (the best modifier) is blue.

I thought of that too, but it would be too simple
Basically GL but reversed. Instead of going the path that is lit up, you have to go opposite way.
in the tower heroes collab there was a quest only existing for a week. called “hotel visitors” you play as one of the entities there is a red text on the top of the screen everytime you clear the wave that red text could be mischievous light proving it guides the entities
tower heroes is likely not canon.
Something you forgot to mention, the red light blocks off the rooms with a glowing red wall on top of the gate, and that adds to the fact that it's "more powerful than curious light." Curious light also says "She said we should call that one blitz" when you die to blitz in the backdoor for the first time, also hinting to another entity or something that will be referred to with she and her, maybe the red light because if it's power over the other two lights.
curious light is probably the strongest, you can read my comment if you wanna know more, because i won't re-type everything here.
@@TheRealFedriko Actually yeah that really does make sense
@@TheRealFedriko Wow, i never really thought about that. I don't really know the answer to that though.
it would be cool for like a future floor where red light completely blocks guiding lights signals and you have to do something to enable them again, and while doing that you learn more lore about the light entities and hotel in general
I dont think it'll be as black and white as guiding good mofifier bad, I think they all have motivations regarding to us and we'll just have to see what they are in the future.
true RL and CL are neutral so far
The red light can also stop you from using the rifts, another way of showing that they have influence over Curious Light and Guiding Light.
1:35 I actually think that Mischevious light isn't directlely against the player. In doors 200 there Is a red light where seek atacks. I think Mischevious light Is doing what Will serve it's needs
Bruh that red light is emitted by seek so wrong
@@GLHero so maybe the red light is taking control of seek? Perhaps it's using seek to have a physical form because the lights don't have a physical form, hence that's why seek emits the most red light out of all entities
@@quarez8181 figure emits yellow light but that doesn't mean it's curious light control just like that I think that red light is there as it warns the player of the danger or it could be helping seek get to the player, like guiding light seek follows the red light to get to us but I'm really sure tht seek doesn't need red light to transform tho bc the devs confirmed it
mischevious light/red light is in the game, if you try to go to the rooms with any modifier, there is a red transparent wall blocking the gate off, even if you flip the switch, it doesn't disappear.
this is a part of the evidence that it’s real, but you need to go out of your way to find this. and not everyone will understand that it isn’t some random barrier, so this can’t really be counted as proper introduction.
idk fact : curious light is in the middle of the painting
while guiding light and mischievous light are in the corners and theyre fighting each other since mischievous light is trying to get us down to hell while guiding light is trying to help us to heaven 💀 were in a limbo )
My theory is that Mischievous light is basically Guiding light but more different and mysterious. Here's why:
Instead of curious light being almost neutral, Mischievous light is with and against the player to balance the game out.
Your upload schedule is beautiful
Fun fact : you can see red light barrier in the room that leads you to the rooms you most have a modifier to see this
not in room A-000, in the room that leads to the rooms. (this sentence makes very sense)
@@TheRealFedriko thanks I change it I'm not good at English 😅
modifiers don't completely nullify guiding light, the light is still in the seek chase pointing where to crouch, and also still closes the door behind you
Unpopular opinion, but i think A-90 is the strongest entity or at the very least a strong contender, it can pause and send back Rush, Ambush , A-60 and A-120, and i think gets rid of screech, but idk
I believe that the red light is neutral like curious light, but you can also have your own opinions about it.
this is true, but i believe helpful modifiers are caused by guiding light.
@Skeletonbones1535 We have Seek. We don't really need Light against us.
@@TheRealFedriko But this is straight up wrong. GL isn't there if you acvtivate modifiers.
@Skeletonbones1535 We don't need a Light against. Seek is enough of a villain
Im prerty sure cyrious light will have a major role in the game too
To be honest Curious Light might be even stronger. It was in the middle and larger on the painting, its starlight gives insane boost, and mischievious light only can put on modifiers if you agree to it. Also, we can see red light in game, blocking the way to Rooms if you play with modifiers
Curious just doesn't care to help us or be against us
yes, this is true.
i think of them as just the guy that doesnt care if you die or dont, and all he cares about is seeing you survive difficulty for entertainment, rewarding you with knobs
I have aa theory regarding the picture of guiding, curious and mischievous light(idk if confirmed name or not)
But seeming that curious light has the biggest design compared to guiding and mischievous, i have two different ways this could mean.
1. It is just a way to show you that the main light helping you in the rooms is curious light
:D
This theory makes a lot of sense considering it can beat guiding light with the crucifix
Could that also be why seeks room is red?since the red light can knock down the furniture in an attempt to stop us while guiding light helps us?
i believe the red light is what makes seek’s chase… seek’s chase. because everything is flashing red, and everything is suddenly chaotic. you remember the floor 1 seek chase? well, they added the room from it to be a normal room. why? because this shows that seek’s chase are just normal rooms but modified by red light in order to try to stop us. all of the other rooms from floor 1 seek chase are also normal rooms but chaotic. and this is further supported by the fact, that guiding light can only shut the door in a normal room, where red light isn’t modifying it. so it doesn’t get shut in the middle of the chase.
In the tower heroes event Doors had a while ago the red light actually appears in Tower Heroes and is labeled Mischievous Light
Even if the light in tower heroes is non canon it at least gives us a name for the red light
where is his name labeled? fans made the name. plus, tower heroes is likely not canon.
that was a year ago, and it still isn’t confirmed. So It’s heavily doubtful that this is true
Maybe curious light is the strongest, in the painting, no matter the amount of modifiers, the 5 pointed star never stops shining its brightest.

Yeah since curious lights star is the biggest and in the centre that kinda of implies it’s the strongest of the lights.
Do you think that we'll ever get a chance to talk to the red architect in the future of DOORS and if we do what would they even say to us, when we are dead like how the other two architects talk to us after our death?
guiding light has an encouraging personality, saying things like: “you’ve done great, don’t give up!” & “you’ve got this far, keep going!”
curious light has a more mysterious one, saying a lot of lore stuff. but curious light can also be encouraging at times.
so the red light’s personality should be something different than these, that way it’s different from the other lights. but we’ll have to wait to find out.
@TheRealFedriko I hope they update the game, so that the red architect actually talks to us when using modifiers after we die that'll be pretty cool. Also I like your theory you said earlier ago, it's pretty interesting.

Supporting facts
Modifiers that make game difficult gives higher reward and those that makes game easier gives less rewards.
And the entity is in the game now in the form of red barrier of rooms entrance when modifiers are active.
Also there is no confirmation that red sigil of crucifix is the third architect.
Also cool placeholder name suggestion: modifying light
As it powers the modifiers
yes, there’s no evidence that the red light is strictly against the player, but the red light does appear everywhere seek appears. so this could mean the red light is helping seek, or something like this. i believe easier modifiers are made my guiding light, because maximum overdrive is blue, and the better the modifier, the bluer it seems to get. and the worse, the redder.
the red light seems to be represented by the modifier icon, and we don’t really know what the icon means, but it looks a lot like a square spiral. (google what a square spiral is if you want info on it)
the red light blocks the rooms so we don’t escape from it, because it knows it isn’t strong enough to modify subfloors. this is supported by the fact that modifiers in the backdoor are disabled.
we don’t really have much info on the light to make up a name, but fans made “mischievous light” as the name, i don’t really like it.
so in short, we need more info to make theories on this, as we have too little info for now.
@@TheRealFedrikoOne thing that I think is flawed is you can still get Hotel Hell with positive modifiers, and with 150%+ modifiers, it seems guiding light is gone. Also about the name (personally) I like manipulating light, that’d just me though.
tbh, the crucifix turning red might just be because Guiding Light cannot stop the entity. NOT that Mischievous Light stop Guiding Light.

Red light does not interfere with the crucifix because the Crescent moon does not turn into a modifiers icon.
This is just a design because Crucifix was added in Hotel+ and Modifiers were added after Hotel+
Actually you see the red light before door 60 as the red light guides seek in the hotel and the mines you can see him in the seek chases guiding seek to kill us
Curious light is probably the strongest out of the three architects (celestials) because in the painting his icon is bigger than red light and guiding light
curious light is the strongest cuz mischevious light can't do anything other than make the entities survive a crucifix
2:56 when you don't have modifiers on you can still see them they are just super tiny

I can go more in depth about my theories about doors stuff if someone asks me about something specific, so ask me for my explanation on anything doors related.
i like to call the red light modifying light becuase its shown int he modifers

I have a question, so since you said that the red light is stronger than guiding light because guiding light is not even in the painting at 150%. Man your theories are peak
@@TheRealFedrikoIs this most likely why Backdoors has Modifiers disabled?
@@TheRealFedriko Oh, that's a great possibility too! It leads me to another theory... That maybe the Red Light only gets Curious out of the way but doesn't nullify their powers. As? Locking him up. And there may also be bits of him (Curious) left in the backdoors and this prevents Red Light from intervening.
But my main theory is the same, the Red Light is the most powerful, but it's just something I believe, since we do count Super Hard Mode as a canonical modification (I mean, it really happened) Red Light also teleports you to another game lol.
But it's up to LSplash if they want to place modifiers in the Backdoors to know a little more-

i dont think the red light is inheritely evil, maybe an antagonist but they also protect things like the grumbles, a species put into danger by seek; and probably protecting figure + seek due to them being IMPORTANT to the hotel/mines - and they also allow good modifiers to be placed. i generally think theyre "neutral" in the lore; while being stronger then GL but not stronger than CL.
i believe good modifiers are caused by guiding light, because it seems like the better, the bluer it is.

@@TheRealFedriko Well why doesn't Red do that with every entity
@@SHAZAMC26 probably because since entities like rush, eyes, etc. are a small obstacle for the player, and the player will get through them easily no matter what, so the red light doesn't bother wasting its powers on those entities. whereas seek, figure, and grumble are a big obstacle for the player, so if they get crucified, the player will easily get through. so i think that's why the red light only saves them.
This guy is MatPat but younger
Its a lil funny that mischivius light's sign is tye modifire simbol
Um notice how they have no way to change curious light
Just because an entity has red in its design doesn't mean mischievous light is connected to it
that’s true, but for seek, it could make sense.
@@TheRealFedriko It could or it could not but I'm just saying because ppl be assuming that entities are connected because they have like the tiniest speck of red in their design
@@Olivejoker393 yh lol, like people are making theories: “figure is connected to curious light because he has a yellow beam out of his mouth when he growls!!”
@@TheRealFedriko exactly lol
@@TheRealFedriko those theories be making no sense
Ahh these lights entities...
Maybe the red light is the ruler of the castle where floor 3 will be
Yeah well red light isn't allowed to remove guiding light in the minecart chase end of story
since the red light is fair, (it offers us challenges for knobs as a reward) it doesn’t completely remove guiding light.
hello guys welcome back to yapping session season 4 episode 9
Hey cheddar balls I really like your content and I've watched almost all of your recent videos but I've noticed a problem that is that the thumbnails kinda spoil the video question
red light appears when seek rises and during the chase
yes, but we don’t know if this is a design choice or not yet. i honestly think it isn’t, as the whole seek chase has red lines flashing everywhere, not just seek.
I don’t really fw the evil light idea. Ik people associate red with evil but genuinely i think he’s js gonna be guiding lights replacement for mods but he’s just gonna be a bit harder on you
we don’t need another good light though, and there wouldn’t be a good story without something evil.
figure & seek are right there man. Figure is the reason you didn’t escape the hotel and seek can kill anything by touching it
@@TheRealFedriko in their defense, you can have an antagonist without it being just evil, i personally think of the red light as a sort of "loki", being able to both help (as some of the modifiers are helpfull) but also being able to make everything living horrible, but also mainly wanting chaos
Ohno that bad we need more of ✝️✝️✝️✝️
Well, seek is the strongest monster right now the red light is no monster 💀
Fun fact seek is the the third architect
That would be a cool theory.
It could also be hide since he/she is technically red 🤷♀️
@@diphalwe6915 I’m thinking this because of gametheory’s latest video where they believe that seek is the devil the reason why I think seek is the third architect is because the third architect has control over all of doors which is supposed to be limbo to hell just like the devil would have control over those places this is why I think seek is the third architect
entities can’t really be architects tho, wouldn’t make much sense.
@@TheRealFedriko who says they can’t in my opinion it makes a ton of sense
@@beaumclean747 well, since 2 architects are guiding & curious light, why would seek be the third one? it’ll definitely just be the red light. maybe the red light has something to do with seek, but seek itself is probably not the architect.
the red light is named mischevious light i think
it’s a fan-made name.
wrong strongest entity is timothy because he makes me scream
wrong strongest entity is screech because he screams
If you have modifiers on you can’t actually go to the rokns
If we die and the red light shows up and hes againts us whats hes gonna say? Get gud?
Red light is basically gonna behave like guiding light in super hard mode😂😂
Red light:
*BRO DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING😂😂🗣🗣🗣💯💯*
jokes aside, we need to wait to make more theories, because these theories are starting to get weird & have no evidence. (i don’t care if it’s a joke, we still don’t have info to make theories, if they’re a joke or not).
Theory: eyes as multiple eyes and some of them are red
Maybe it’s connected to the red light
Tell me what y’all think about it
Not every color is related to a light design choices exist bro 😭
Stupid theory strikes again
3:08 isn’t true this is probably because of the gone fishing modifier.
no.
@@TheRealFedriko how are you gonna tell me no😭 it’s literally apart of the game when you add in the gone fishing modifier they added that little detail where guiding light won’t show up on the painting.
@@TheRealFedriko also your curious light theory is far a reach, only reason you could crown his as the strongest entity in doors is probably because of his op items. But nonetheless he’s just a brain dead guiding light
@@executecows one, gone fishing only disables glowing hints.
two, i just went and tested it, it is not because of gone fishing.
@@executecows not only that, he can also teleport us across floors, and the red light can’t modify sub-floors. curious light also seems to know more lore-wise.
Here when 11 minutes
A-60 or seek imo if the lights character doesn't count
That might just be A-60 being A-60
0:59 WRONG ITS NAME IS MISCHIEVOUS LIGHT
no, theres no official confirmed name for it, its called “Mischievous” for a fanmade one, we dont know the actual name
1:10 Third. dot.
Not final, as it's not confirmed.
The Crucifux's message says that the player has been marked by 3 celestials. So if Guiding Light and Curious Light are already there, then Red Light is the third and the last one. Adding even more lights wouldn't really make much sense anyway.
@@Wallless21 Alright I understand the point. HOWEVER more lights would make more sense than just 3, especially with 2 being neutral and one being good.
But please remind me, where anything says Lights are called Architects? and it's not some kind of title or role of Lights?
@@Rajd_is in the wingdings in the crucifix sigil
@@Rajd_isyes, it’s never confirmed that the lights are the architects, but it makes the most sense, and we don’t have anything/anyone else that/who could be architects.
@@TheRealFedriko I mean not ALL Lights have to be Architects. Unless something straight up says Lights = Architects
We can assume there are non-architect Lights
Bro really put the nether in thier
