Today I would like to show you a "very educational and full of twists" power supply repair for a colleague from the previous episode. A colleague, of course, happy, you need to help yourself, especially in these difficult times in which we live. Of course, I would like to emphasize that this is not a guide, but only my repair of this particular charger and that's it :).
Sometimes it is enough to open the housing and we immediately know what is damaged. Visual inspection should always be the initial phase of all repairs, because it often turns out that already at this stage, without taking the meter in hand, we can see faults, the search for which would often take us a few precious minutes or even hours.
In this case, the casing was sooty and the pin on the board was torn off. The repair went smoothly and was done correctly in my opinion. I always try to repair something so that this equipment does not end up on my operating table again in two weeks.
