Sucker do not die by eating fish food... It might be some other issues. Check your water temperature. Temperature might be the issue because i am facing same right now
This is the third or fourth time I am facing this problem....a week after my suckers die ...the tank starts getting mossy so I do a partial change of water .....buy suckers....quarantine them for two days n then add them to my tank.....the first week theyare cleaning the glass n pebbles. ..then they start coming up for the pellets n eat voraciously. ... n then in a day or two they die?...please advise.
Same thing happened to me as Verena mentioned ... Mine also died after 2-3 days eating fish food ... I noticed it's below side got black spot ... Same happened twice ... I have bought again 1 small ... I hope & pray it's survive long and live healthy life...🙏
If you are an indian youtuber, I would suggests you not to release these fish in ponds or river. This fishes are invasive species and bad for south asian waterbodies.

There are so many algae in on my lotus leaf. And m thinking to keep one sucker fish. As winter is also near therefore m in doubt. Please can u help me
U don’t have to even speak to tell me where r u from. U r aquarium says it for itself. Every one of this fish says it’s from India/Bangladesh type of place

Dont feed riped seed.
Try raw cucumber fir intact seed.
Dont keep 2 plecos in small tank
