I didn't appreciate this fragrance until this past summer. Terre d'Hermes was released when I was 21 and I'm 34 now. I hated the way it smelled for over a decade and now it's in contention to be my signature fragrance. Part of my decision to purchase was this review. Thank you for your content. At 8:09 it's ok, we all have those moments even at work lol
This happened to me also.but my friends who is older than me says this smells like a toilet cleaner. But i enjoyed it. I wear it for myself. It sometimes needs to be used for a longer time to appreciate this masterpiece. First encounter for this fragrance may get alot of dislike which i also experienced.
That orange note- I cannot fathom wearing this any other time but summer. Oranges are quintessential summer. Perfect summer air conditioned office scent. Spring is for herbal florals and autumn is for leathery spice.
I'd say that it's best for balmy summer nights but during the day when the sun's beating down, it feels a little too heavy. You're probably right in that it's not ideal for spring, but it's certainly fantastic for autumn.
Bespoke Unit I really like it. This is a very gentle fragrance. After 3 hours, it smells like Creed Aventus for me. Not sure if it is only my feeling or not.

Hi CP ! I liked to buy this fragrance but not personally sniffed only getting the gist from reviews then I want to buy online. Would you compare it with any alternate brands to know about the smell comparison... thank you for your good reviews !
Hi Kirbha, Terre d'Hermès is admittedly one of a kind. There aren't many like it so it's hard to offer well-known alternatives. That being said, I think it's a pretty safe blind buy. If you don't want to take the risk, perhaps you could try it in a perfume shop? All the best, CP
Hi CP ! I ordered edt 100ml online since shopping malls are not open in India due to situation. Though it can be a blind buy for me, but for the only reason I understand from most of reviews and yours was the last review during my analysis before buying. I feel it can give the mature characteristics of Man !
Hi CP ! I received Terre D’Hermes, I m using for a last few days. The fragrance is really very matured and masculine, mostly I feel the dark orange and may be vertiver, I m not weak abt notes, on my skin it linger for an hour and becomes very close only noticeable in close encounters, I’m from South India due to high humid region may be, on cloths it stay for 3 hrs and projects smoothly even quite a some more time... I think I need to apply more sprays to extend the for long and bright but I afraid will that annoy others. These are my first impression. I love the fragrance!
I'm afraid not and I hadn't really planned to do it anytime soon. Might do a single video covering the flankers, though. However, I'm not overly fond of either Vetiver or Eau Très Fraîche...
@@mrpurple33 I'd try as it's certainly not a blind-buy. Personally, I found it to be a simply watered down version of the EDT. But maybe that was my skin. Best, CP
