My mom was the same with me and my twin brother. I don't know how she ever did it. I have two boys of my own now. They are 16 months apart and that was hard in itself. Now that there 5 and 6 we get asked at least once everytime were out if they are twins!

I’m not a single mom but with dad’s work he’s not there. You just do the best you can and I am trying to develop a schedule but honestly by the time I get one of my boys fed, changed and back to sleep the other one is up so it’s a constant cycle. If anyone has any tips or advice because I’ve just been running on adrenaline the past few weeks.
Yes as a single mom of one, my hat goes off to all moms dealing with multiples. One of my best friends and her hubby visited me one Christmas and she was nursing her newborn twins with a "what have I done" look on her face. I smiled because watching her were her 18 month old daughter and her 4 year old twins. That's right 5 kids 4 and under. She did it all. He went to work, she did all the cooking feeding diapers everything. She's my hero 💖
Nursing was the hardest part with my twins. If I was a single mom I’d have to have mostly formula fed
I’ve been having an awful week but these vlogs are the only thing getting me through. I love this family 🥺💗💗

I'm 39 weeks right now and waiting for my baby boy to come any day now. We went thrifty on the majority of our baby stuff but splurged on the Owlet Monitor. I think it's really going to give me some peace of mind at night as a first time mom.

You could get a while load of pillows you could lean against and have babies under each arm (in Australia we called it the football hold feed). Then with that great feeding pillow you can lean back and have a snooze while the boys are feeding. A midwife showed me with my first child. It was great!

I love this! I’m expecting twin girls in September and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for!
With my twins when one woke up I tried wake the other and feed them at he same time. I would do everything until I did the midnight feeding. From 2:30 to 6am my husband would do the feedings (pumped). That way I got 6 good hours and my husband 6 hours.
With my twins, we are doing about the same too, rotating shifts so that the other one could get good sleep.
My son broke his collarbone last night... it’s been so scary and rough. He’s only 2! Your vlogs make me so happy, this took my mind away from all the worry for a little bit and I thank you for that. ❤️

I know a million people have said this already, but I was so overwhelmed and just so completely exhausted just waking up at night to feed one baby. Let alone TWO. Let alone filming it too!! My youngest little is 5 months old now, and I’m gonna bite my tongue and say I kind of miss waking up in the middle of the night with him.. feeding him and snuggling him back to sleep. It truly goes too fast. I know this stage sucks with missing so much sleep.. but these are moment’s that are short lived and to whoever needs to hear it, you’re going to miss this! 😭❤️

I had a rough day yesterday and wasn’t able to watch your vlog till now. But it’s exactly what I needed to start my day. I’ve been watching your vlogs since the beginning of this journey. And I can’t tell you how much it has helped me with dealing with the loss of one of my pregnancies. It was 30 years ago but at times it feels like it was yesterday. Back then I could only find 1 book that talked about miscarriages. Miscarriages were not talked about. Or if they were it was usually just in whispers and there was nothing to tell you how to deal with the loss of your child. So thank you Rachelle and Justin for taking us along with you on your journey. May the Lord continue to bless you and keep you all!!!
Wow. I remember the delirium of the 3am feeding! Once I reached for my son to get him into hold for nursing, couldn’t figure out why he was squirming so much and wouldn’t get into position. Yeah, it wasn’t my son. It was the cat. Yikes.

Is it too difficult to feed them both at the same time during nighttime feedings? Seems like it would cut your awake time & add maybe another hour to your sleep at night.. I'm guessing. I honestly don't know bc I didn't have twins. I remember how exhausting it is with one newborn, then twice as hard with a toddler and a newborn. I can't imagine two!! You are amazing!

Love this I had my fraternal girl boy twins 5 years ago and there weren't really any newborn twin videos around thanks for reminding me of my hard work and dedication back then. I did it pretty much alone tried tandem feeding as much as I could for 2 years. I wasn't able to wake my hubby up to help,only if it was chaos. I did it alone pretty much. My Mum stayed with us first month but again I needed more help during day so needed them both to sleep as much as possible or they be grumpy and too tired to help so I took it on at night. The burping was really the hardest part of it all and maneuvering twins bodies alone. I used rolled up towels to help them not roll around. I used a twins breastfeeding pillow. It was hard. I appreciate all breastfeeding Mums. I look back and don't k ow how the he'll I managed it. But yes I'd do it all again if I needed to. ❤️ love

My niece got facial and body rashes all the time when she was born. Dr said. Oh eczema and gave steroid cream. After months of this finally got an allergy test. Sweet girl is allergic to eggs. And was having a reaction to the breast milk because my sister ate eggs everyday. If the boys rashes don't clear. Try changing your diet. Or a allergy panel for them. Just a tip

One thing that I found really helpful with my daughters, was to change their diapers before nursing them in the middle of the night. They went back to sleep much more easily that way. Just an idea!
I used to do that and my twins would literally poop in the middle of a feeding. Ugh it would annoy me lol.
That’s what I do with my twins. They fall right to sleep after eating.
That’s a given. They don’t feed well when they’re wet and uncomfortable.
