Points that I was concerned about throughout the video: - Did you guys decrease the Tyre Pressure for traction? - If you were alone in Gurkha at that time, what would you do to recover it? Reverse it? Or something else? - There should be a sensor in the vehicle, which also tell us about where the Center of Gravity of the Vehicle is going, to avoid such situations... - Thar AT(new gen) vs Thar MT(old gen) is not justified drag race, imo... P.S. There is too much red color in the video... Pls adjust... Pink lips 😂
I think the old thar struggles due to its excessive weight by the hardshell tent and other mods. The modern thar though really falls true to its name and it felt like it was at home gliding through sand. With the Gurkha i get it the excessive height due to high cabin on frame which dinesh bhai explained in that 4x4x4x4 video and also the bigger tyres and lift kit have made it even taller otherwise I think the Gurkha was doing well like upto the Isuzu level. The Isuzu driver idk name but I think its his first time so he is naturally hesitant cuz he doesn't know about the dunes maybe with time he'll know and use the Isuzu better. That mm540 was also doing good, it was like a no nonsense just do the job kinda and obviously the navigator was experienced. I think in dunes one big factor that also plays is the knowledge of terrain and it plays bigger role than ice cuz the ice can broken by tyres and then you can find tarmac but in dunes there's almost no solid ground to have traction the more you know about terrain you'll know that were sands are loose and you can avoid that. Desert is more dangerous than snow I've experienced that you should always be alert in dunes and don't get carried away respect them and safely move around them.

No bro, Gurkha wouldn't have toppled at that angle. Don't look at it like a box of metal. It's CG is quiet low and was well within limits at that angle.

You don't have much experience in desert safari or dune bashing. Gurkha was safe to negotiate that drop, stop hating on the car due to your own lack of experience and confidence. Any equipment is as good as its operator, first learn then do commentary.
