Thank you Andrew for introducing Francis to us fans and collectors. Seeing the videos of this amazing collection are spellbinding. I’m sure his late brother Jackie is proudly smiling down on him and his beautifully curated museum. A true labor of love and a wonderful tribute to both him and The Beatles.
Thanks Andrew for a brilliant series and thanks to Francis for sharing his collection with us. If he were ever to publish a pictorial catalogue it would be a lasting tribute to his brother Jacky and I"m sure many Beatles aficionados would purchase a copy.
Thank you Andrew, what a magnificent collection and such a joy to be able to see it. I hope Francis knows how grateful we are to be able to see it and what a lovely guy he is, the tribute to his brother Jacky was wonderful. Thank you Francis, now lets find that demo of something for him, someone must be able to find one for him to make the collection complete
What a great series this was. His amazing priceless collection is staggering. Thanks for showing it and thanks to Francois for allowing us access to seeing it. Cheers.
It has been fascinating to watch all episodes. What just shocked me is that the questions you asked him, he answered EXACTLY what I would have answered, regarding favourites. I've never met anyone who feels the same - that's quite shocking to me. Made the hairs stand up on my neck and all that. I perfectly understand why he'd want to pass the thing on as a whole. That many pristine copies of records should never be split. Nice touch to his brother at the end. Merci.
Some wonderful pieces of rare memorabilia here that fair take your breath away! I can't help but wonder how much it all cost to buy and how much it is all worth! Francis's tribute to his brother Jacky at the end of the video was very moving. Thank you Francis for sharing your delightful and incredible collection with us and thank you Andrew for making these fantastic videos!
Just unbelievably awesome! Thanks to you,Andrew, and Francis for keeping the legacy alive! So many things I’ve not seen. I’d love to shake the hands of both of you! Brilliant and a blast!
Thank you, Andrew, for sharing in this series of episodes. I hope this collection can one day be available for the public to view. I believe it’s important to keep it all together.
Stunning, breathtaking, just plain awesome! Quite simply the coolest Beatles collection we will ever see and we humbly thank you Andrew for letting us see it, and the man behind it. Merci Beaucoup, Francis!😁✌👍
One of the best video series you have done Andrew! Francis was a sweet and beautiful man and what a joy for any music collector- I totally agree with DO NOT BREAK IT UP- a major museum in UK, USA or Japan should acquire it in the future - realtives are NOT the way believe me! Thanks again and the channel still remains of the the best on YT!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It’s funny I’m looking at this collection and I’m not one bit jealous. I’m very happy with what I have, which are mostly records. However my eyes lit up at seeing the Yellow Submarine lunch box. I had one that made a couple of moves, our family moved a lot when I was young as my dad was a naval officer. Anyways mom unfortunately threw it out after it became a nut and bolt storage container…oh well, lol!! Great video as always Andrew. Grateful to this French gentleman for collecting and preserving for you to video for us to see. Thinking about making a video of my vinyl collection in order for to see what exactly I have. Maybe one of these days.
Wow what a collection. Thank you Andrew and thank you Francis. Francis, your museum is wonderful and a fabulous tribute to your brother Jacky. I hope that Francis is able to get those last few remaining items he would like, and that the collection stays together and one day can be viewed by fans from all over the world. It is remarkable and must be one of the most unique collections anywhere. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Fabulously well done mate. And well done to Francis, I don’t care how he was able to finance all this, what he does for a living or who tucks him in at night. All that matters to me is his ability to live out the dream of so many Beatles fans; to show us that it is indeed possible to achieve a 99% complete collection. Well done boys 🎸
Grazie Andrew for this unique Beatles Museum Series, it was a very rare opportunity to ‘visits’ such an amzing collection. Your appassionate videos are ever the best and sometimes you are able to make my sunday... thank you!
What a wonderful journey over the last 4 episodes. thank you for sharing it. Each week I have been looking forward to seeing fab new Beatles stuff. Many thanks Francis😍✌.
That was a great video Andrew. Thanks for sharing it Francis and Jackay. Hope the collection is kept together, it would be a shame to see it broken up. 🎵👍
You'd hope that the remaining Beatles, their heirs, or Apple themselves would buy the whole collection in time, to keep it together and send it out as a touring exhibition.
Thanks a lot, Andrew and Francis, for sharing this fabulous collection with us. I loved watching all the videos and the invaluable items shown through these episodes. Hope to see more videos showcasing more records, books, tour programs and so on. Thanks again. Nelio.
Andrew. A fantastic video, Francis is so awesome the collection, the museum beyond all words, superb, excellent, so many things, I have a collection but not like this, this IS a incredible tribute to them it will last FOREVER, Francis Thank You, they burning bright because of you and Jackie, I know he is so proud of this, the Beatles Forever, Steve
It is absolutely outstanding that he let you do this series. At least if is preserved for others to see on this channel, no matter what happens in the future.
Thanks for the series Andrew and Francis. Appreciate the effort to share the collection with us all 👊🏻 Fingers crossed it lives on in this state for future generations to enjoy. It would make a fantastic global touring exhibition.
Thanks Andrew for putting this together! The tribute to his brother was beautiful. Like all of us collectors, we would like our collection to 'remain complete' down the line and I feel this is the hardest decision of all if we cannot pass it onto someone who will appreciate it.
Absolutely spectacular. To see all this stuff together was really something special. Can’t thank you both enough for sharing this collection with us all. That cavern club book was mind blowing. Beatles last Stones first time. So many highlights so many unique items. Although I’ll probably never get the private tour i feel fine! Thanks again Francis and Andrew!!
Great Great Video and fantastic Interview! This man is awesome, he owns what I think is the most complete Beatles collection. I hope all these items will be well preserved in his museum for a long time. Thank You Andrew!
Thank you, Francis, for creating this astonishing tribute to the one band that changed music, and our lives. Thank you too, Andrew, for sharing this with us. What a touching way to end the interview, seeing as well as hearing, the love Francis still carries for his brother Jacky. I know exactly how he feels. What a gift it must have been for you when Francis first agreed to let you see his museum. How amazing an experience to get a personal viewing of it all. I can understand his reticence over opening the museum to the public. Firstly, he'd had to close everything off from being touched. Repeated handling of any of his collection by complete strangers would cause no end of stress to Francis' labour of love, running the risk of destroying any of the artifacts or the potential unscrupulous customer unable to resist one of the baser human 'qualities'. He'd have to move it to a different building to meet fire regulation as well as heavier security precautions. In many ways, it would take away from his tribute to Jacky to alter the work Francis has done. That said, my mind's eye imagines an opening ceremony attended by special guests, Paul and Ringo. Could they resist an invitation if such an occasion ever happened?
Lovely collection Francis!! I'm a huge Beach Boys collector, and like you, I'm hoping to sell my WHOLE collection to someone at some point! Might be difficult, but I'm confident that when I'm ready, someone will step up!! As for your tribute to your brother Jackie...I feel the same way about my two older brothers, who were the first to introduce me to the world of the Beatles, the Who, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan...the list goes on and on. It's something special to be connected to them, because of the music. I could see the connection you have to your brother in your eyes, when you spoke of him. He's with you and he's enjoying the museum!! You can be assured of this!! Best, DmGrk
Thanks to Francis for sharing his amazing collection. I'm sure Paul McCartney would be interested in it. Thanks Andrew for your very informative videos.
Thank you so much Andrew for making this a part of your weekly Beatles videos. The only question which could be great to have then answer to - is how was it possible to collect it all - in pre-Ebay times? Travelling the world or how?
Thanks to Francis and well done Andrew in presenting this amazing collection. I really hope Francis gets to keep the collection together. It would be a travesty if it were to be broken up. Amazing. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to more peeks into Francis' amazing collection
I can only add my praise to the comments of others here. Fascinating to see these posts. This is the kind of thing that the BBC would have done a few years ago but now we have to go to RUclips to find intelligent content.
That's an astonishingly awesome collection Francis has put together, and one has to admire his dedication and tenacity at putting all this together. I do hope his fine collection can stay together in perpetuity, which will be tricky because of the high monetary value, yet absolutely necessary due to the near impossibility of recreating such a collection now.
You really outdid yourself on this series, it's fantastic! Thank you so much for finding this hidden treasure...it's...as we used to say, mind-blowing!!
The individual items are awesome, but it is so beautifully displayed. The record label floor mats are great. Are they unique or were they produced for sale at one time? Francis’s (slightly) limited English made him explain things more clearly than a native English speaker who probably would have relied too much on cliches (to use a French word). I’ve been to the Abba museum in Sweden and Francis’s collection is at least as good. Thank-you Francis, keep doing what you can do to keep this together!
Thank you Andrew. Thank you Francis. Simply amazing. Sadly I'm not a silicon valley tech bro billionaire. Otherwise buying, preserving and displaying this collection for the public would be a no brainer.
Hi Andrew, Its been an absolute joy over these four episodes to see Francis's fantastic collection. I think he's wise not to open the museum to the general public as you would need to have everything in secure glass cabinets for security reasons. I do hope his sister or son will one day carry on the museum in the same spirit as it was created. If for some reason in the future the collection has to be sold, I hope Apple 🍏 Corp would purchase it in its entirety. Please pass our thanks on to Francis for allowing us to see these wonderful items.
Fantastic overall presentation Andrew. It must have been difficult to choose which footage to use. That was a great way to end with your interview with Francis.
Thanks for documenting this collection. While Francis can never likely accommodate more than a small number of visitors to his museum, you’ve made it possible for thousands to enjoy his collection. Your camera work was excellent, giving us a good feel of what it must be like to step into this space. These videos may end up being the legacy of Francis’ work to compile the collection. Sadly, finding a new owner for this collection someday will be a tough job. Very few out there have both the passion and the money to give Francis a fair offer for his collection. There almost needs to be a buyer representing either one of the estates or Apple Records or a fan like Peter Jackson. Otherwise the only way to get Francis’ investment back would be to dismantle the collection and sell it piece-by-piece… which could be a huge effort in itself.
I think this is a good opportunity to ask; Does the city of Liverpool have a genuine and real Beatles museum? If they honestly do not, Francis’s empire here should go there! Memphis has Elvis Presley’s Graceland…there’s no excuse why this precious collection cannot go to where it all began. After all, it’s a certain bet that Liverpool gets substantial taxes out of its most famous sons through tourism. Do NOT let one single item be sold, Francis! Preserve it the way it should be, just like Graceland!! Future generations will thank you!!
Lovely video, especially the end where Francis talked about Jacky. You'd like to think Apple or EMI (or even Paul, Ringo, Giles, etc.) would be interested in making an offer for Francis' collection. Use it as the centerpiece of a new, open to the public, Beatles museum.
Hi Andrew... I just want to thank you for showing us this incredible collection in this series, and to thank Francis for making it possible. When you asked if he had ever met the four or the living Beatles in person, I was really expecting a ´Yes´ as an answer, but then he said it was only in a concert. Then my heart felt very sad to know that the living Beatles have not met this incredible museum yet. I'm pretty sure Francis would be delighted to have them there; that would be a dream come true. Is possible for you or is there any way we (as fans) could make this possible for Francis?
Once again, thanks so much Andrew & Francis for this wonderful insight into this incredible museum 😀 I'll keep playing lotto so I can buy it! 😊 😉😄 I would have loved to have seen more of his worldwide vinyl collection, did you film any of these? I noticed he had The Beatles 'bible' also, 'The Beatles Covered'. It would be brilliant to see his collection in book format also. I would willing photograph everything he had if he ever wanted to do that (put in a word for me, it would help with my world database I'm doing!! 😉😄). Thanks again 👍✌️ Jase
i dont remember where i read it, but a huge similarity between beatles and james bond. both started exactly the same year and day,5 October 1962 with the singles - love me do, ps i love u and 007 dr. no in the uk. huge part of the modern british pop culture phenomeans and the beginning, George martin was the producer in the Goldfinger song and worked with the from russia with love theme ,and Goldfinger made a bad comment about beatles in the film, beatles probably made the film help as a 007 parodied after the sh -tty comment the creators of 007 made, the actor Colonel Smithers was both in james bond and help, the bond girl in The Spy Who Loved Me married ringo starr many years later, paul mccarthney for some reason wanted to make a james bond song to james bond. George harrison and paul mccarthney loved the bond car so much that they bought db5 themselfs after visiting the bond studio, Sean connery came to geroge martin in abbey road and recorded the song, in my life.. i know i miss alot, but those are the ones i remember. intresting article called : James Bond and The Beatles: When 007 made fun of the Fab Four
Well done and thank you Andrew and Francis for the series of videos relating to the museum and sharing this on this site. I've watched many videos since finding your channel, but this is the first time I've left a comment. I especially enjoyed the section on the different sleeve variations from around the world. It's something that rarely happens these days with most CD's using the same cover with the odd exception. It's interesting to see that some items were not in perfect condition which may say it's rare to find some items in perfect condition. I was wondering if Francis managed to get The Beatles autographs first hand but that was answered in the video, who knows Paul or Ringo may see this video and stop by one day. I think many people can relate to having a record collection which family may not be interested in keeping after their death. Unfortunately, for kids it's all about streaming these days!
Thanks to Francis for sharing and Andrew for presenting this amazing collection. Since he chose Sgt Pepper s as his favorite album I’m wondering if he has the Australian audiophile and/or the Nimbus version of it.
That was a truly brilliant piece of film (all 4 episodes) thanks for that. But where did the record label floor stickers come from, always wanted also to see the export white album & abbey road records never seen in real life before
In America ,merching off of stars has been big business since Elvis and it went into overdrive with Beatlemania in 1964. The most popular Halloween costumes sold in '64 was the Beatles which consisted of plastic mask likenesses and suits to go with them. One in mint condition today will fetch up to $300 Before they set foot on American soil shirts with Beatles pictures printed on them sold for $5 a piece when they'd normally go for 79 cents.Back in 1964 5 US dollars had today's purchasing power of $43
This museum have interesting things about band, the episode 3 he show Brazilian records and found very cool that.I believe as the history of Beatles encounter all here now.Uchino of Japan.I see you Andrew.
Hey Andrew, were there any food products affiliated with The Beatles. I remember when I visited the Philippines in 1970, they had a sandwich biscuit called The Beatles Sandwich Biscuit which was two small plain digestives with peanut butter cream filling. The wrapper had their mop top likeness!
At 16:32, export TO Malta rather than from, presumably... but isn't the disc just a generic export to a number of different countries rather than specifically to Malta? (Unless there is something Malta-specific on the sleeve??) Excellent video Andrew, thanks!
I hope that a collector can be found to buy the whole collection. Perhaps it could be an institutional buyer? This seems like the kind of thing the British Library, or the equivalent institution in France, might be interested in buying. A buyer like that would probably give the collection the highest possible long-term chance of remaining intact. On another note, how on Earth did I not know that Sylvie Vartan opened for the Beatles in Paris?!?
I don’t know where Francis’s museum is but I guess it’s in a private house. That isn’t conducive to being a public museum but the intimate layout and presentation is as important as the collection and should be preserved. There is a way all goals could be achieved. Visitors pay, say, €100 for a one hour guided tour. It would be an exclusive tour meaning one curator per visitor. As each visitor has a curator with then at all times, that gets round the security problem. It would mean visitor numbers are low, but that’s necessary anyway because of the small space. Because it’s a personal tour, the visitor can request to see specific items. Would people pay €100 for an hour? I’m a life long Beatles fan and have never seen any of the rarities in Francis’ collection. I would definitely pay €100 to see them all in the same place. It’s win win: fans are happy and Francis knows his collection is safe and bringing pleasure to many diehard fans that really appreciate it.
Hi Andrew, what an amazing collection! I have been watching these episodes in absolute awe! Haha, I was just wondering if I would be able to send you a quick email tomorrow about a let it be record that I found in a big bundle I purchased. It has a black parlophone label instead of the usual apple label and it has parlophone on the back of the sleeve where the apple normally is. Thanks
Just some constructive criticism here, but if you ever do another showcase series like this maybe think of using the flip screen effect a bit less often. I know it's kinda a signature of your videos but with something like this it wears thin and can be a bit visually disorienting, at least to me. Interesting stuff though, and those Beatles glasses shown near the beginning are hideous in an oddly charming way, lol. I'll probably save the interview section until I've gone back and watched the rest of these.
Is it fair to ask what does this man do for a living to get all these beautiful rare editions of these albums and memorabilia? He has to be either independently wealthy or have an extremely well paying job to do this. A normal collector could not get anything like this even if they started really really early in the 70s doing this
Thank you Andrew for introducing Francis to us fans and collectors. Seeing the videos of this amazing collection are spellbinding.
I’m sure his late brother Jackie is proudly smiling down on him and his beautifully curated museum. A true labor of love and a wonderful tribute to both him and The Beatles.
Glad you like them, Tim!
Very touching. Thank you Francis. Your tribute to Jacky was very moving.
Thanks Tim. I hope we can find him that demo.
His face at the end made me tear up. So touching to know that he did all of this because and for his brother.

If I was Paul or Ringo and saw this, I'd definitely want to go meet him and tour the museum. I bet it would be an amazing experience for them all.
Yeah, Paul & Ringo just dying to see all the licensed product they never got one red cent for! 😂
Thank you so much again Francis and Andrew for letting us share this amazing collection
Glad you enjoyed it, Brian!

Will do!

Glad you enjoyed it
I would happily contribute to the purchase of the Something demo to show my gratitude to Francis.
That's very kind of you, Rob!
simply wonderful. Thank you Francis and Andrew of course

A George boy? I knew I liked him! He really is cool and interesting.
Thank you Andrew for sharing this with us ❤
Glad you enjoyed it, Daniela.
Thank you Andrew, thank you Francis, thank you Jacky. This was overwhelming.

At 2:35 the small book shows that The Rattles from Germany played at the Cavern Club. At first I thought it was the Ruttles.
Fantastic collection thanks Francis, and thanks Andrew for the great content
Glad you enjoyed it, Kam.
Excellent video Andrew!I hope he does some day open it too the public I also hope that Paul and ringo and there families come too see it!
You really outdid yourself on this series, it's fantastic! Thank you so much for finding this hidden treasure...it's...as we used to say, mind-blowing!!
Glad you enjoyed it, Ned!
If I had the money I'd definitely buy the whole collection. It's amazing what he's put together over the years.
Priceless, in every way. What an insight....

Absolutely amazing Andrew! Thank you so much.
Glad you enjoyed it, Kevin!
Great video and information. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching, Chris!
Loved the museum episodes. Noticing all the acetates, I would love to see you do an episode on that topic. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Chazz, will do!
Wouldn’t it be great if Paul McCartney went over to France to visit the Museum!?
Or John Lennon.
Even better, he could buy it !! That should protect the museum for the foreseeable future!! :-)
The collection would indeed be safe if Apple bought it. They'd box it up and lock it in a vault so nobody could ever enjoy it.
Yes. Good Bless all the corporations great and small! 😂
A wonderful series of videos. I have to wonder what will become of his Beatle Museum artifacts after his passing.
Fantastic overall presentation Andrew. It must have been difficult to choose which footage to use. That was a great way to end with your interview with Francis.
Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
as always,🔥THNX!🔥
Liverpool does have a Beatles museum: liverpoolbeatlesmuseum.com
Lovely video, especially the end where Francis talked about Jacky. You'd like to think Apple or EMI (or even Paul, Ringo, Giles, etc.) would be interested in making an offer for Francis' collection. Use it as the centerpiece of a new, open to the public, Beatles museum.
Thanks Matt. Glad you enjoyed it.
Stupendous. The collection should, ideally be preserved intact and taken under the wing of The Beatles Liverp@ool museum or some place similar.
Andrew you should come to Argentina !!! there is a collector here who also has a museum, he has a big collection, his name is Rodolfo Vasquez .
I'd love to, Hernan!
I highly doubt any other Beatles collection in the world gets even close to this, even those from the former Beatles themselves.
Amazing collection. I hope he gets his wish and if the collection is ever sold, it’s sold as a whole. It would be a real shame to break it up.
Thanks again 👍✌️
Jase
Great idea, Jason!
i dont remember where i read it, but a huge similarity between beatles and james bond. both started exactly the same year and day,5 October 1962 with the singles - love me do, ps i love u and 007 dr. no in the uk. huge part of the modern british pop culture phenomeans and the beginning, George martin was the producer in the Goldfinger song and worked with the from russia with love theme ,and Goldfinger made a bad comment about beatles in the film, beatles probably made the film help as a 007 parodied after the sh -tty comment the creators of 007 made, the actor Colonel Smithers was both in james bond and help, the bond girl in The Spy Who Loved Me married ringo starr many years later, paul mccarthney for some reason wanted to make a james bond song to james bond. George harrison and paul mccarthney loved the bond car so much that they bought db5 themselfs after visiting the bond studio, Sean connery came to geroge martin in abbey road and recorded the song, in my life.. i know i miss alot, but those are the ones i remember. intresting article called : James Bond and The Beatles: When 007 made fun of the Fab Four
i forgot that Sean connery came to geroge martin in abbey road and recorded the song, in my life
Well done and thank you Andrew and Francis for the series of videos relating to the museum and sharing this on this site.
One in mint condition today will fetch up to $300
Before they set foot on American soil shirts with Beatles pictures printed on them sold for $5 a piece when they'd normally go for 79 cents.Back in 1964 5 US dollars had today's purchasing power of $43
Merci Francis , Merci …..
I really enjoyed the series Andrew. :)
Glad you enjoyed it, John!
At 16:32, export TO Malta rather than from, presumably... but isn't the disc just a generic export to a number of different countries rather than specifically to Malta? (Unless there is something Malta-specific on the sleeve??)
Excellent video Andrew, thanks!
Trini Lopez was in the film The Dirty Dozen, even sang a song for it.
Minute 7:58 - an article from the Beatles magazine written by “Billy Shepherd” 😵💫
Nice idea, Kevin.
Thanks
Sound like you have an export copy. Feel free to email me some pics to confirm.
@@Parlogram hi andrew, that would be pretty cool. I've just sent you the photos.
23:02 yes please
❤
Has In His Own Write and other John books been rereleased before?
For me. I d rather have a one collection that was signed by the four Beatles than having all of that with no signed autographs of The Beatles.
Hey it was him who bougth the signed Lennon book...
My friend has Beatles compact mirror
Is it fair to ask what does this man do for a living to get all these beautiful rare editions of these albums and memorabilia? He has to be either independently wealthy or have an extremely well paying job to do this. A normal collector could not get anything like this even if they started really really early in the 70s doing this
No, no it isn’t fair.
