A day in track behind the scenes with F1 drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Alex Albon.
They came to Lonato (South Garda Karting) for a day of testing.
Intrepid Kart hired me to ensure video coverage that day. This video is part of the package I delivered.

I dunno how we can ever tell Alex, but so many Japanese motorsports fans have a real soft spot for Alex - Yuki Tsunoda, who many in Japan root for, has often talked about how mentorship from the RedBull family - Franz, Pierre, and Alex in particular - was very important in his development as a driver today.
Yuki said he felt pushed into F1 very early - he didn't expect the step up from F2 to be as big; both physically and mentally. Pierre and Franz, along with his trainers were teaching him how to keep physically fit, and Albon would give him advice on his mental state of mind, as well as how to communicate how the car feels in English. Yuki would also ask Alonso about racecraft after his battles with him - which gave him a lot of tricks up his sleeve.
Yuki isn't a pushover, he's competitive and doesn't want to lose - but at the same time, you can tell he has a lot of respect towards these drivers
That really puts in perspective Yuki's improvements over the last few seasons! It was impressive enough to just spend 1 year in each of the junior categories before F1. And yeah he probably wouldnt have been given so many extra chances without Honda's support, but with all the off-camera hurdles he had to overcome, it really is impressive and shows the potential he has!

It's like saying who won in sparring when boxers are training for a match. if the F1 drivers really had to I'm sure they could turn it up a notch.

How old is this? Or is Albon outside of F1 still with Red Bull?

I made this back in November 2022 I think. For some reason Intrepid never posted this material.
Probably from 2021 as Yuki was in F1 back then and Albon was a RB reserve driver.
No mate, u are Right. As much as i know, maybe it changed till now, but Alex somehow still got a contract with rb. So a while After he changed it was like u said but if its still topical, im not shure. You can also see, on the Helmets he had in the Williams, a long time there were still an RB-Logo on it.(also about this fact, im not shure it still was in 2023. not really following Alex)
